After a 40-minute ferry ride from the Trat province on mainland Thailand, we arrived on Koh Chang, a peaceful island in the Gulf of Thailand. Eager for some beach time, we stopped at KC Grande Resort & Spa to enjoy its secluded corner of White Sand Beach before heading to the canal-side Phu-talay Restaurant for a seafood dinner.
Our hotel for the night was Spa Koh Chang, a wellness resort located on the east side of Salak Kok Bay and surrounded by a mangrove rainforest. We experienced a few of the resort's health and detox options, including yoga, massage, and a lunch of delicious raw and vegetarian Thai food.
