In this video we will tour you in Nakhon Phanom Walking Street | Mekong Walking Street | Street Market in Nakhon Phanom!

Nakhon Phanom Walking Street or also known as Mekong Walking Street is a street market that has little in the way of arts and crafts, clothings, bags, shoes, toys, and of course, lots of street food. The old buildings and the historic structure like the Thai-Vietnamese Clock Tower give it a nice vintage atmosphere.

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, a section of Sunthon Wichit Road is closed and turned into a walking street. People will be able to walk along the road in the late afternoon to enjoy views of the Mekong river and Laos on the opposite bank. In the coolness of the evening they will be able to enjoy shopping and tasting the local cuisine.

Ho Chi Minh's House in Nakhon Phanom Thailand

Ho Chi Minh is said to have lived on the outskirts of Nakhon Phanom for 2 or 3 years in the late 1920s.
The house that he inhabited is near the Thai Vietnam Friendship Centre, located about 5 km from downtown Nakhon Phanom, easily reached on bicycle. Ho's house is on the road parallel to the Thai Vietnam Friendship Centre, about ½ Km off the main highway..
The old wooden house is in a well maintained (and relatively un-commercialised) small complex that is not frequented by many tourists to the area.
The house has a simplistic charm to it although the labelling of items is sparse but the simple charm prevails.
