WALKING IN DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER, CANADA TO FIND THE BEST VIEWPOINT FOR SKY VIEWS| TRAVEL CANADA [4K]
WALKING AROUND DOWNTOWN CANADA ON A SUNNY DAY IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. The city experiences rain and heavy clouds almost every day with minimal sunlight. In this video, I walked to the observation deck at the Harbor Center which has one of the best views I have ever seen in a while. The views from the observation deck will simply leave you speechless.
Did you enjoy the views? Let me know in the comments section.

Stanley Park Prospect Point | Vancouver Attraction | 360 4K
Prospect Point is a point at the northern tip of Stanley Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, located on the south side of the First Narrows of Burrard Inlet. The point is a viewpoint, landmark and tourist attraction in Stanley Park and has a restaurant and other facilities, is just west of the Lions Gate Bridge. It has a beautiful view of the Lion's Gate Bridge and West Vancouver.
During cruise ship season, you'll be able to see these huge vessels sailing under the Lion's Gate on their way to docking at Canada Place or the Vancouver Convention Centre in downtown Vancouver.
One important note is when driving around Stanley Park to get to Prospect Point, don't miss the parking lot entrance. If you pass it, you'll need to go around the entire park again because the roads are all one way.

Driving Downtown - Vancouver 4K - Canada
Driving Downtown - Vancouver BC Canada - Season 1 Episode 22.
Starting Point: Granville St .
Vancouver, officially the City of Vancouver, is a coastal seaport city on the mainland of British Columbia, Canada. The 2011 census recorded 603,502 people in the city, making it the eighth largest Canadian municipality.[1] The Greater Vancouver area of around 2.4 million inhabitants is the third most populous metropolitan area in the country,[1] the second largest city on the United States–Canada border, and the most populous in Western Canada. Vancouver is one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada; 52% of its residents have a first language other than English.[4][5] Vancouver is classed as a Beta global city. The City of Vancouver encompasses a land area of about 114 square kilometres, giving it a population density of about 5,249 people per square kilometre (13,590 per square mile). Vancouver is the most densely populated Canadian municipality, and the fourth most densely populated city with over 250,000 residents in North America, behind New York City, San Francisco,[6] and Mexico City.
The original settlement, named Gastown, grew up on clearcuts on the west edge of the Hastings Mill logging sawmill's property, where a makeshift tavern had been set up on a plank between two stumps and the proprietor, Gassy Jack, persuaded the curious millworkers to build him a tavern, on 1 July 1867. From that first enterprise, other stores and some hotels quickly appeared along the waterfront to the west. Gastown became formally laid out as a registered townsite dubbed Granville, B.I. (B.I standing for Burrard Inlet). As part of the land and political deal whereby the area of the townsite was made the railhead of the CPR, it was renamed Vancouver and incorporated shortly thereafter as a city, in 1886. By 1887, the transcontinental railway was extended to the city to take advantage of its large natural seaport, which soon became a vital link in a trade route between the Orient, Eastern Canada, and Europe.[7][8] As of 2009, Port Metro Vancouver is the busiest and largest port in Canada, and the most diversified port in North America.[9] While forestry remains its largest industry, Vancouver is well known as an urban centre surrounded by nature, making tourism its second-largest industry.[10] Major film production studios in Vancouver and Burnaby have turned Greater Vancouver and nearby areas into one of the largest film production centres in North America,[11][12] earning it the film industry nickname, Hollywood North.[13][14][15]
Vancouver is consistently named as one of the top five worldwide cities for livability and quality of life,[16][17] and the Economist Intelligence Unit acknowledged it as the first city to rank among the top-ten of the world's most liveable cities[18] for five consecutive years.[19] Vancouver has hosted many international conferences and events, including the 1954 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, UN Habitat I, Expo 86, the World Police and Fire Games in 1989 and 2009; and the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Paralympics which were held in Vancouver and Whistler, a resort community 125 km (78 mi) north of the city.[20] In 2014, following thirty years in California, the annual TED conference made Vancouver its indefinite home. Several matches of the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup were played in Vancouver, including the final at BC Place Stadium.[21]

Vancouver Canada, Hop-On Hop-Off citytour 4K
In April we were able to explore Vancouver very well with the hop-on hop-off bus from Westcoast Sightseeing by Gray Line. The city tour leads through downtown and the park tour in addition through the Stanley Park. Both tours in station wagon were for two days but for the price of one day. Every 40 minutes you will be taken back from the stops during the day. In addition, there is a ride on the water bus from Stanley Park to Granville Island. We especially liked Yaletown, Science World, China Town, Gastown, Steam Clock, Vancouver Lookout, Canada Place, and in Stanley Park: Coal Harbour view, Totem Poles, Prospect Point, English Bay Beach with palm trees and Sunset Beach overlooking the Burrard Bridge.

Walking Tour of Vancouver, Canada - To The Good Life
A trip up to Vancouver with my brother. We took a long stroll around town, enjoyed the sites, including Vancouver's own 'Space Needle' and stopped to watch Team USA lose to Messi. In the video we attempt to capture the spirit, culture and character - and the Good Life - of this great city. Enjoy...and those street dogs were so good.

It wasn't a long trip up to one of Canada's finest cities, but the bro and I made the most of our time up there after dropping the family off to catch a flight for a European vacation. It just so happened that Team USA was playing Argentina in the Copa America, so finding a decent sports bar was high on our list of objectives. Due to our lack of proper time zone conversion, the game didn't start when we thought it did, so we had some extra time to explore a bit. Bonus.
We stopped first at what we thought was a nice sports bar with decent food and great beer, but it turned out to not be showing the Copa match, so after downing a couple of homemade pizzas and a pint or two, off we went on a tour of the city and in search of someplace that would be showing the match.
The below-linked video shows the highlights of our trip through the city, but doesn't quite capture the embodiment or the vibe of Vancouver, so I'll add a few pointers.
The video starts off with us driving into the area near the main football stadium, where the World's Fair must have been hosted years ago, as well as probably some events from the Olympics. We parked in a nearby parking garage and hit the road on foot. We passed a bunch of skateboarders demonstrating their skills for passers-by and then we got our first real whiff of the city - Cannabis is legal north of the border and there were certainly parts of Vancouver that made you feel like you've been kidnapped by Snoop Dogg or Cheech and Chong.
As seen in the video, we encountered quite a few weed establishments where it looked like you could hang out and weed-out all day. Classic.
Walking closer to the center of town, we spotted Vancouver's own Space Needle towering high above the surrounding buildings, so we headed there, taking in some very impressive architecture along the way. We passed through a park where everyone seemed to be gathered to - you guessed it - smoke that cannabis. On every other street corner you could find evidence and conversations of people who have been smoking weed all day, too - very amusing.
Especially comical was the bit of graffiti on a wall in the park reading, Too Many Humans. I could only imagine how many humans that guy (or gal) was seeing after smoking in the park all day. We both got a good chuckle out of that one - and of the side-by-side establishments, one titled Food and the other Drink. Coming up with those names must have been hilarious for the owners who were probably making it simple for the weeded-out groups that likely frequent those joints (see what I did there?).
After buying our tickets to the top of the 'Needle' - very reasonably priced, by the way - we zipped up the glass elevator and got a bird's-eye, 360 degree view of this impressive city and its surrounding areas. Each viewing point had a historical blurb to describe what we were seeing, including information of a city-wide fire that left only two buildings standing at one point in the city's history.
Looking down from the tower, we captured an airplane landing in the water - always pretty cool - and a slew of both modern and historical building designs, just blocks apart.
This city glows with elegance. Very, very impressive.
