Casio Royale Watch In-Depth Review, The Good Timekeeping Show
This episode of the Good Timekeeping Show is an in-depth review of the Casio AE1200WHD watch. This watch is often called the Casio Royale watch because it looks a lot like a watch worn by James Bond in the 1983 movie Octopussy. But the watch in the movie was actually a Seiko watch. As for this Casio watch, it has some great features like a map of the world to help you check out different time zones. It has 5 alarms plus the hourly chime signal. It has a 24-hour stopwatch and a 24-hour countdown timer. There's a pretty, amber-colored backlight. It's accurate to within 30 seconds per month (but, unofficially, I find it to be accurate to within 10 seconds per month). It's water-resistant to 100 meters and it's powered by a lithium CR2025 battery which should last about 10 years.
It's a good-looking watch and it's inexpensive. Typically, you'll see it for less than $30 and, as of the date I recorded this video, it was less than $23 at Amazon.com.

Night at the Casino Ends in Bad Luck: Elderly Woman Violently Mugged
View Royal -- West Shore RCMP hope you can identify the man in a grainy photo. They believe he is responsible for a violent mugging outside the Great Canadian Casino in View Royal last night. A 72 year old Colwood woman was leaving the Casino just before 11 o'clock. As she left the smoking area at the side of the building police say a man pushed her to the ground.
She was violently pushed and the purse was snatched from her.as a result of that she had fallen to the ground, broken a tooth, required 10 stitches to facial lacerations and sustained brusies and scrapes on her knees, says West Shore RCMP Cst. Julie Chanin.
Great Canadian Casinos is taking the incident very seriously. Muggings don't happen often on their properties. It's the first time such an incident has taken place at the View Royal Casino. Casino employees first heard the woman's cries for help. Her purse and all its contents, gone. It's unknown if any winnings were stolen. It's not believed that the suspeect spent any time in the casino. He was just outside the casino, and likely just waiting for an opportunity, says Chanin.
Caroline Gaets frequents the casino. She was there just two hours before the violent incident, but says the mugging won't deter her from going back. I feel very safe every time I go there, and I go there quikte a lot. I'm not the least bit concerned about getting mugged or anything .There's lots of cameras around. Lots of security. I'm very surprised it happened, she says.
RCMP are reviewing casino surveillance video and describe the suspect as white, early to mid 20's with short blonde hair. He was wearing a blue, white and grey plaid sweater, grey knee length shorts and black shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 OR Crimestoppers.
