Mount Abu and Gurjars[edit]
The Arbuda Mountains (Abu Parvat ' Mount Abu) region is said to be original abode of the famous Gurjars. The association of the Gurjars with the mountain is noticed in many inscriptions and epigraphs including Tilakamanjari of Dhanpala.[3] These Gurjars (Gujars or Gujjars) migrated from the Arbuda mountain region. As early as sixth century CE, they set up one or more principalities in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Almost all or a larger part of Rajasthan and Gujarat had been known as Gurjaratra (country ruled or protected by the Gurjars) or Gurjarabhumi (land of the Gurjars) for centuries before the Mughal period.[4]
Mount Abu and Rajputs[edit]
According to a legend, sage Vasishta performed a great yajna at the peak of Mount Abu, to seek from the gods a provision for the defense of righteousness on earth. In answer to his prayer, a youth arose from the Agnikunda (fire-altar) — the first Agnivansha Rajput.[5][6]

I am sorry but you cannot feed the crocs! It is all part of conservation and you can’t interfere with their complex dietary needs.

Being a hill station, the place has cool and pleasant climate all around the year, but I wouldn’t prefer the rainy season because it can hinder with your explorations’ around Mount Abu.

3. Dilwara Temples, Rajasthan [100 Heritage Sites of India]
Hello Friends,
welcome to my channel Topic IQ.
In this video we will learn about Dilwara Temples, Rajasthan, India.
Dilwara Temples of India are located about 2.5 km from Mount Abu where Mount Abu is Rajasthan's only hill station. There are five temples in all, each of which are named after the small village in which it is located. These are:
1.Vimal Vasahi, dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara, Rishabha.
2.Luna Vasahi, dedicated to the 22nd Jain Tirthankara, Neminatha.
3.Pithalhar, dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankar, Rishabha.
4.Parshvanath, dedicated to the 23rd Jain Tirthankara, Parshvanatha.
5.Mahavir Swami, dedicated to the last Jain Tirthankara, Mahavira.
Among all the five legendary marble temples of Dilwara, the most famous of those are the Vimal Vasahi and the Luna Vasahi temples.
These Jain temples were built by Vimal Shah and designed by Vastupal-Tejpal, Jain laymen.
Dilwara Temple forms a famous pilgrimage of the followers of Jainism.
The striking use of marble, in the construction of this temple, is truly worth-admiring. However, the simple architecture of the temple, reminds one of the virtues of Jainism.
Facilities are available for bathing, which is mandatory before puja is performed for the idols. These facilities use passive solar power to heat up the water for bathing and other things. Guided tour hours for tourists are posted outside the temple.
