Snail Mail - Summer Tour 2019 Speaking Terms (AliceCoopacabana Channel)/ Pristine (jkntrimmed Channel)/ Let's Find An Out ( Tom Whitham Channel) More details will follow as soon as possible....Rising indie-rock angel Snail Mail has returned to tour life to make summer dreams come true this 2019. The tour opened up this weekend at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey (May 25th) before she headed to Boston Calling Music Festival (May 26). Now she's in Europe where she will tour for the next couple of weeks hitting up venues and festivals alike. Then in July, she'll resume with an official North American tour that is set to last until August 24th. This weekend, we got a taste of Snail Mail's, (the brainchild of Lindsay Jordan,) new setlist. She hasn't released any material since her 2018 debut album Lush, but in New Jersey she live debuted a brand new, unreleased song toward the end of her set called Baby Blue. Following this, she performed another brand new song, but this one has no name. The rest of her setlist has remained pretty consistent to the rest of what we've seen on the Lush tour cycle. The band opens up with a psychedelic opening jam before transitioning into Heat Wave and performing songs her fans now know every word to like Dirt, Slug, Golden Dream, Thinning Pristine and others. What is different, however, is that Jordan and her band have become more confident and tighter as a group, especially the more they perform. To see how much this band has bloomed over the past year, don't miss out when they come to your town this summer! Tour dates are mapped out below.

History: Lindsey Jordan released her self-recorded solo EP Stick in 2015 and played several live shows with her new band as Snail Mail. She was joined by Ryan Vieira playing bass and Shawn Durham on the drums. After completing one short DIY tour in 2016, Jordan released the EP titled Habit on Sister Polygon Records, which gained traction after being featured on several major US music sites, and they signed with Ground Control Touring.Pitchfork added the EP's opening track, Thinning, to their Best New Track series. Snail Mail, now with bassist Alex Bass and drummer Ray Brown, toured North America extensively in 2017 supporting Priests, Girlpool, Waxahatchee and Beach Fossils. Jordan signed with Matador Records in September 2017 and her debut full-length album Lush was released on June 8, 2018, to generally positive reviews from music critics. Snail Mail played their first headliner tour in the beginning of 2018.
Critical reception: Snail Mail has been well received by critics. Their sound has been described as reminiscent of the '90s sound. The band’s influences include Sonic Youth, Liz Phair, Cat Power, The Cranberries, Pavement, The Velvet Underground, Paramore, and Fiona Apple. Pitchfork described Snail Mail's lyrics as, emotionally wise, musically clear, and encompasses the once and future sound of indie rock. Rolling Stone magazine gave Snail Mail's debut album Lush three and a half stars but described the potential of Lindsey Jordan and her music as, the work of an indie-rock prodigy.

WITP once again hit Trikkestallen Skatepark in Trondheim,Norway.
We had 75 stoked out kids entering the contest and a huge hyped crowd.
Judging the contest were Volcom teamriders Hermann Stene, Marcus Vik, this really stoked the kids.
The 14&under division ripped the park to pieces, we had a lot of great contestants here. We also had a pair of twins age 6! These guys charmed the crowd as well as the local newspaper. Oskar Hjellegjerde is a true ripper who did some amazing tricks. He got 1st place and I won`t be surprised if we see him rip in Sevilla.
The 15-21 division was insane, so many great tricks went down from the boys. Here Roar Kollnes killed it and won the whole shebang.
The BBQ outside were blazing all day and everyone got some hotdogs and burgers.
The Open Divison was amazing, so many good skaters who ripped while the crowd went crazy. The one and only Gard Hvaara did some truly amazing tricks (crooks nolliflip on the flatbar, switch 360 flip down the dobble set). Gard won the open divison and got a shitload of gear and some hard earned cash.
This was a great day for skateboarding in Norway.
Big thanks to Volcom, GoPro, Girl Skateboards (Bernhard sports), Coca Cola, Vans, Kim Marius, Thunder Thor, Erlend Wings, Torleif, Hermann, Marcus, Vegard, Thomas, Frode, Trikkestallen Skatepark, Marius @ Mollys Skateshop , all the contestants and the people who came to watch.
