The Other Mallorca (Majorca): Beaches around the island including our favourite long white virgin beaches and pretty coves
Paradisiac Beach, Es Trenc Majorca Spain Tourist Information Video Umberto Faraglia
Es Trenc is one of the most popular beaches of Majorca. For reason of its white sand and turqoise waters, Es Trenc reminds many visitors of the Caribbean, even though there are no palms. The broad, shallow shelf of the beach increases its attractivness, especially for families with children. It is only the damage to the dune landscape, which is consequently diminishing, wrought by the stream of tourists, that mars this picture of natural beauty. Since Es Trenc is subjected to a stream of up to 10,000 visitors in the high season summer months, a comprehensive programme of restoration has been initiated.
Especially those who likes to swim in the nude, prefer holidays at Es Trenc. Reasons can be found in its naturalness, its remoteness and the undazzled beauty
La Spiaggia di Es Trenc a Maiorca è una spiaggia di sabbia bianca e fine con acqua cristallina si trova a Campos. Spiaggia molto affollata e pulita.

El Arenal (officially and in Mallorcan s'Arenal) is a town on the Balearic island of Mallorca, Spain, located between the municipality of Lluchmayor and Palma de Mallorca. The northern part of the torrent of the Jews (Torrent dels Jueus), is in the municipality of Palma de Mallorca and is called Playa de Palma.
Its proximity to Palma (15 km) and the airport (7 km) make it a place of good access for tourists and residents. Their management parties are celebrated in July.
Old fishing village, it is an eminently tourist neighborhood with great demographic expansion, especially since the 70s. This change has been due to tourism (basically English and German). It has a wide white sand beach, where in summer many tourists gather along its immense and remodeled walks in the late nineties. Its church is called Our Lady of Lactation and its patron is San Cristóbal. La Porciúncula is the other parish in the area, but located on Palmesan soil.
A part of El Arenal belongs to the municipality of Palma de Mallorca and the other to the municipality of Lluchmayor. According to the municipal population register of 2011, in the part belonging to Palma there were 6 668 registered inhabitants and 10 041 in the Lluchmayorense part. It has a very important marina on the island, which is both one of its biggest attractions, next to a beach full of palm trees and space for sports activities. In the part belonging to the municipality of Palma there is less space on the beach but it is much longer and is full of leisure areas such as discos, bars, cafes, mini-golfs and of course, hotels.
We hope that you enjoy this! See you in the next video, please subscribe and support it.

In this episode, we sail to the paradisiacal beaches of Es Trenc, Mallorca. It is the last large sand that remains unbuilt in Mallorca and is famous throughout the world for its crystal clear turquoise waters.
Trenc is considered a nudist beach, although in summer it is usually crowded and there are more people with swimsuits than taking photos. The images of this video have been recorded early in a month of June to capture all the beauty of this wonderful site.
We strongly discourage visiting these plyas in the months of July and August and especially in the central hours of the day.

Places to see in ( Mallorca - Spain ) Catedral de Mallorca
Places to see in ( Mallorca - Spain ) Catedral de Mallorca
Palma’s vast cathedral ('La Seu' in Catalan) is the city's major architectural landmark. Aside from its sheer scale and undoubted beauty, its stunning interior features, designed by Antoni Gaudí and renowned contemporary artist Miquel Barceló, make this unlike any cathedral elsewhere in the world. The awesome structure is predominantly Gothic, apart from the main facade, which is startling, quite beautiful and completely mongrel.
The Catedral occupies the site of what was the central mosque of Medina Mayurka, capital of Muslim Mallorca for three centuries. Although Jaume I and his marauding men forced their way into the city in 1229, work on the Catedral – one of Europe’s largest – did not begin until 1300. Rather, the mosque was used in the interim as a church and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Work wasn’t completed until 1601.
The original was a Renaissance cherry on the Gothic cake, but an earthquake in 1851 (which caused considerable panic but no loss of life) severely damaged it. Rather than mend the original, it was decided to add some neo-Gothic flavour. With its interlaced flying buttresses on each flank and soaring pinnacles, it's a masterful example of the style. The result is a hybrid of the Renaissance original (in particular the main doorway) and an inevitably artificial-feeling, 19th-century pseudo-Gothic monumentalism. Mass times vary, but one always takes place at 9am.
The Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma, more commonly referred to as La Seu (a title also used by many other churches), is a Gothic Roman Catholic cathedral located in Palma, Majorca, Spain. Built by the Crown of Aragon on the site of a Moorish-era mosque, the cathedral is 121 metres long, 55 metres wide and its nave is 44 metres tall. By way of comparison, the height of the central nave reaches 33m in Notre Dame de Paris, 38m in Reims, 42m in Notre-Dame d'Amiens and 48m in Saint-Pierre de Beauvais, the highest of all Gothic cathedrals.

La Seu-English
La Seu reveals the entire history of Majorcan art, from the Gothic period to the recent intervention of Miguel Barceló in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
Inside the cathedral you can distinguish the different styles of art, and also admire the amazing lighting of its beautiful stained glass windows and its large rose window.
The construction of the Cathedral of Palma began just after the Catalan conquest of the island in 1229. Legend has it that while James I was sailing towards the island, he became engulfed in a huge storm, and that after praying to Virgin Mary for his safe deliverance from the storm, he promised that if he survived he would build a temple in her honour.
Thus, the construction of what would become the Cathedral of Palma began in the early fourteenth century. The site chosen for the new construction was that of the ancient Muslim mosque, which had become a Christian church at the arrival of Catalan troops to Majorca, and had been used for this purpose for some time.
The construction of La Seu -- which is the Cathedral's Majorcan name -- began following the building styles of that time, as can be seen from the great care for details. The oldest part of the cathedral was built as a result of James II's desire to be buried in a chapel, and now corresponds to the apse. In the mid fourteenth century it was decided to increase the height of the temple while retaining the presbytery. This initiative significantly changed the initial plan, as it went from being a project of a single nave church, to another much more complex construction. The director of works at that time was Jaume Mates.
At the end of the same century, work began on the Portal del Mirador, under the direction of Pere Morey. This is possibly the most prominent sculptural group of the time. The temple was finished at the end of the sixteenth century, when the construction of the Main Portal began. Today, this portal is the only element that remains of the original facade, which was severely damaged by an earthquake in 1851.
The construction of the Cathedral took over two centuries, during which new contributions derived from the changes in leadership of the works, and changing stylistic trends have created a unique and extraordinary temple that was consecrated in 1601.
Mallorca Top 5 Attractions / Must Sees [4K]
Mallorca Top 5 Attractions:
1. The Caves of Drach
- The Caves of Drach (lit. Dragon caves) are four great caves that are located in the island of Majorca. The caves extend to a depth of 25 m and reach approximately 4 km in length. The caves have formed by water being forced through the entrance from the Mediterranean Sea, and some researchers think the formation may date back to the Miocene Epoch.
2. Cap de Formentor
- Cap de Formentor forms the eastern end of Majorca's Formentor peninsula. The Majorcans also call the cape the Meeting point of the winds. Cap de Formentor is a spectacular place, located on the northernmost point of the Balaeric Island Majorca in Spain. Its highest point, Fumart, is 384m above sea level. It has many associated bays, including Cala Fiquera, Cala Murta and Cala Pi de la Posada.
3. Sa Calobra
- Sa Calobra is a small village in the Escorca municipality on the northwest coast of Majorca. The port village is a popular destination for coach trips and road cyclists and is accessible by a single winding road, designed by Italian engineer Antonio Parietti, which features many hairpin bends and a spiral bridge.
4. Clear blue water and beaches (my favorite beach: Caló des Moro)
- Caló des Moro is a beautiful virgin beach with crystal clear water, 6 Km from Santanyí, in the Southeast of Mallorca. Only 30 m wide and flanked by rocky cliffs and pine trees, Caló des Moro is largely unknown, even to locals and excellent for diving and anchoring small boats.
5. Es Pontàs
- Es Pontàs (The big bridge in catalan language) is a natural arch in the southeastern part of the island of Mallorca.[1] The arch is located on the coastline between the Cala Santanyí and Cala Llombards in the municipality of Santanyí.
