Virginia Water and Valley Gardens in Windsor Great Park - Filmed by Drone
Elevate Studio were granted permission to film the spectacular Virginia Water estate. The short film was captured largely with the Panasonic GH4 and DJI s900, we also have the GoPro 4 & DJI Phantom 2 & 3 in our arsenal which we used for a couple of shots.
Virginia Water was first dammed and flooded in 1753. Until the creation of the great reservoirs, it was the largest man-made body of water in the British Isles.
The woodlands surrounding the lake have been continuously planted since the middle of the 18th Century. The Frost Farm Plantation (at the south-western end of the lake) is also a designated SSI (Site of Special Interest), thanks to its maturity and biodiversity.

The attractive village of Virginia Water offers local shopping whilst the nearby towns of Ascot and Windsor provide more extensive facilities.
There is a local station which provides direct access to London Waterloo and the area is well situated for both Heathrow and the motorway network. Excellent schools abound in the area like the American Community School, Bishopsgate School, St John’s Beaumont School, TASIS, Hall Grove, Coworth Park...
Leisure is also available in the area with Dell Park Livery Stables, Wentworth Golf Club, Wentworth Health and Tennis Club
Virginia Water stands 45 minutes away from London Waterloo, 25 minutes from Heathrow airport, 30 minutes from Gatwick airport, 15 minutes from the M25 (Junction 13).

From VisitSurrey.com: Virginia Water is located on the southern edge of Windsor Great Park, near Ascot. There is a pleasant walk around the lake, encompassing many curiosities, including a 100 foot totem pole, a cascade, an obelisk raised by George II, and part of a ruined city imported from North Africa.
The circuit around the lake is about 4.5 miles (7.2 km), about half is paved and the other half is a natural path both providing easy walking conditions even with a pushchair. The lake offers easy walking perfect spots for picnics and stunning scenery.
Virginia Water is open all year around, from dawn until dusk.
