Chakra teertham made with sudharshana chakra.
Varkala Janardhana Swami temple.
Where Brahma did penance.
Where perumAL still stays without doing his achamanam.
Where Narada's valkala (uthareeyam) fell.
Chakra theertham formed by Lord using Sudhasana chakram so that nava prajaapathigaL can bathe!
Bramma did penance
Lord came as a small boy asking for food. When Lord was going to do aachamanam Bhramma requested not to do as the world would come to an end. So Janardhana swamy’s hand is in aachamanam posture.
Bhagavan from vaikuNta joined Naradhar who was doing bhajans . When entering Bhramma’s loka, Bhramma prostrated and prajaapathis made fun without realizing Bhramma was prostrating the Lord.
So they were cursed..
Naradhar threw is uthreeyam and it fell in Varkala where prajapathis did penance and Lord Janardhanaswamy freed them from their curse..
Jai Janardhana.
