After 12 km once you reach the Kirinda/Yala junction take a left turn and travel for approximately 13km to find the Yala Village Hotel. The Ratnapura-Embilipitiya road passing Uda Walawe is also a convenient route.

Yala Village Hotel houses 54 jungle chalets and 6 beach chalets while the rooms are designed to provide total comfort with modern facilities surrounded by nature and wild life. The Beach chalets are equipped with a private veranda that opens out to a fine view of the Indian Ocean while the Jungle chalets are situated inland where guests can walk out to their private verandas and spot frequent visitors of the jungle roam the back yard of the hotel. In keeping with the rustic feelings of the jungle all chalets are furnished accordingly. Wall hangings, curtains, furniture, bed linen and even light fittings display jungle motifs.

The Mass destruction of Yala National Park in sri lanka
Everytime we go to Sri Lanka, Yala is always on the list of places to visit. Getting lost in nature, and seeing so many beautiful creatures free in the Wild is a lovely experience.
Yala National Park is one of the largest national parks in Sri Lanka, and is also known to have the world's highest concentration of Leopards, although spotting them still requires some luck.

Sri Lanka Motorbike Tissa Town
Tissamaharama (or Tissa as everyone calls it) is a fantastic place to visit and a great place to base yourself for a trip into Yala National Park. The ride begins at the town of Debarawewa, a couple of kilometers away from Tissa, and heads past a couple of dagobas before going along the edge of Tissa Tank (Tissa Wewa). After that it's through some rice fields and past another dagoba before riding out along the road to Kataragama where all the tourist hotels and restaurants are.
The ride is a Bajaj Avenger and the camera a Drift HD.

Wedding packages are also arranged with Sri Lankan traditions such as the Poruwa, flower arrangements, music etc. A meeting room that can accommodate up to 50 guests is available at the hotel. The small port of Kirinda on the south coast about 10km south of Tissamaharama is a strange and haunting place bypassed by most visitors.
Kirinda Rajamaha Viharaya is located on top of the rock on a fine beach and most beautiful place. This had been built by the king Kavantissa.
There are no places for accommodation but at the Yala Junction you can find.
Kirinda is a small fishing village blessed with a pretty beach, spectacular views and a charming history, yet it is bypassed by most visitors. There is a rocky outcrop from which can be obtained some magnificent views of the desolate coast with its long stretch of sand dunes.
