Kuching is the capital of the East Malaysian state of Sarawak. Being the most populous city in the state of Sarawak, Kuching emerged as one of the most vibrant cities in the region and it is the largest city on the island of Borneo and the fourth largest city in Malaysia.[3][4] Kuching was elevated to city status on 1 August 1988 and carries the nickname of Cat City.
Since 1997, Kuching has been host to the Rainforest World Music Festival, an annual music festival which brings performers and spectators to the region from all over the world. Hosted by the Sarawak Cultural Village, the festival is now one of the largest musical events in Malaysia.
The Borneo Convention Centre Kuching or BCCK is the first dedicated convention and exhibition centre in Borneo. It was opened in October 2009 and aims to attract conventions, conferences, events and exhibitions to Kuching.

Sarawak Jong's Crocodile Farm & Zoo | Walkthrough 2018
Situated at 18 Miles (29km) Kuching/ Serian Highway, a 20 minute leisure drive from Kuching Town, the capital of Sarawak, Land of Hornbills, boasts one of the largest and the only crocodile breeding farm in the country.
Set amidst the charming backdrop of tall tropical trees, lush vegetation and local fruit trees lies this unique farm with over a thousand crocodiles bred in captivity. The farm provides a perfect sanctuary for the reptiles, saving the species from extinction. There are huge and deep concrete ponds and natural breeding grounds for the crocodiles to mate and multiply.
Visitors are able to gaze at the snapping jaws, cold menacing eyes, sharp pointed teeth and powerful lashing tails of the crocs within short distance yet safe because of the metal fence.
Apart from crocodiles there are also numerous rare species of birds and animals found only in the Borneo Island. There are also monkeys, leopard-cats, sunbears, bearcats, pheasants, civets, barking deers, sambar deers, turtles, fruit bats, monitor lizards, pythons and even hornbills.

???? Jong's Crocodile Farm & Zoo at Kuching, Sarawak
Jong's Crocodile Farm & Zoo has all started from passion of animal lover and conservationist, Yong Kian Sen, to save six young estuarine crocodiles in year 1963, and currently it became a oldest and well known crocodile farm in Malaysia, which is also one of the biggest in the country with over thousand crocodiles bred in captivity.
The 25 acres farm had successfully bred over thousands of crocodiles with 500 breeding crocodiles in bulk of the farm’s off-spring for export.
Beyond crocodiles, the farm also a mini zoo with various other reptiles and birds. Tourist came here to witness the amazing jumping crocodiles during feeding demonstration and also indulge in the forest like natural setting around the farm.

2019 is looking good for Telok Melano. The newly completed section of the Pan Borneo highway leading into the southern most point of Sarawak has opened the door wide open for holiday makers into this sleepy Malay fishing village. Hikers to nearby Tanjung Datu National Park will rejoice too. Villagers here are enjoying the spin off too with homestays & cafes mushrooming all over the village. Boatmen will be kept busy too ferrying visitors to Talang Talang turtle island. Not forgetting our Indonesian neighbours from nearby Sambas....it is Visit Sarawak year, 2019. We say 'Selamat Datang'. On the banks of the Sarawak river, and very near to the equator stands Kuching, the capital of Sarawak and the most populous city in Borneo.
Kuching has a colorful history which reads like a romantic adventure novel, but it also has a lot to offer to modern day travelers. Endowed with cultural and architectural treasures, visitors are advised to set aside at least a few days here to truly appreciate Kuching's magical appeal.

Kuching is the capital of Sarawak, a Malaysian state on the beautiful island of Borneo. It's a great laid back city that perfectly suits for a stay to visit some of Borneo's sightseeing spots.
But Kuching itself also has some nice things to see. A good starting point is the Kuching Waterfront. With a nice bridge and buildings, it definitely gives Kuching something very unique.
Apart from the waterfront you also find some nice temples, cat statues and of course, shopping centers.

Synopsis
A tourist is traveling around Kuching and meeting up his old friend, Eric which happens to be a local in town. Eric decides to bring his curious little friend around town and explain more on the components of uniqueness they have in Kuching that he could never forget. Eric also emphasizes on a remarkable experience his friend will embark not just the city itself, but also the unity of the multiracial society in Kuching. He introduce the tourist to his friends which is multiracial, show the tourist how everyone get along very well without any complication despite having different backgrounds with different cultures and believes.

Libur hari ini jadi aku main ke waterfront yg letaknya berada di pusat bandaraya kuching.
Tempat ini sangat cocok untuk nongkrong santai2 apalagi dimlm hari,
Karena aku datengnya siang jadi tempatnya belum begitu ramai,yg jualan juga belum semuanya buka.
Tempat ini juga sering ada event juga loh kalo hari perayaan,saran aku kalo yang pengen dateng kesini sore ataupun malam pas ada even pasti seru sekali????

Follow me for a glimpse of my hometown, Kuching. Kuching is the capital city of Sarawak, Malaysia, situated in the Island of Borneo. The city was founded in 1839 by Sir James Brooke, who also founded the Brooke Raj and became ruler of Sarawak. Kuching is populated mainly by Chinese, Malays, Bidayuh (Land Dayak) and Iban (Sea Dayak). The city is a popular visitor destination for its museums, unique historical sites and exotic atmosphere, complete with street markets, nearby national parks and plentiful statues of cat.
Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, Annah Rais Homestay, Darul Hana bridge, Kuching Waterfront, Museum Sarawak, Fort Margherita, DUN Sarawak building, kek lapis, ikan terubok are among the main attractions. The main doorway to Sarawak is through the Kuching International Airport. The end song is a bidayuh song, titled, Babai Lew by Hunters band.
