Exploring Sibu continues-Trip to The Jade Dragon Temple 诗巫《玉龙山天恩寺》游
Traveling is one of the very best ways of healing. My trip to The Jade Dragon Temple that situates 17 kilometers away from Sibu town center is definitely a remarkable place to chill and rejuvenate the body, soul, and spirit.
I actually knew nothing about this place before I went there, my new friend Albert in Sibu introduced me to this place and we decided to spend time there during the Gawai cum Raya holiday early this June thus I would like to thank him for all his effort and kindness to drive me there. This temple was officiated in 2009 thus it happened to be its 10th anniversary this year.
Jade Dragon Temple, located at Sibu - Bintulu Highway, is not only recognized as the largest temple complex in Malaysia but also considered to be one of the largest in Southeast Asia. This is a dojo dedicated to Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucius. It has become a popular tourist attraction in Sarawak, Borneo. Its majestic architecture and meticulous interior design make many photographers stunned and take a group of perfect photos.
