Scuba Diving North West Trip to Vivien Quarry in Llanberis
Scuba Diving North West took a trip to Llanberis to visit a quarry at the foot of Snowdon in the slate mines in Wales.
Water was a cool 8 degrees at 18m, but clear and we happened to be the only ones in the water at that time.
Weather was fabulous and hit a high of 28.3 degrees. Will be planning to go back real soon.

Our first visit to this small but dramatic quarry in Llanberis. Jan 2nd 2017 and an excellent start to the year. Water temp 7C, max depth 17.6m, 2 dives about 37 mins, viz about 8-10m except when you stir up the leaves on the bottom.

High winds and rain bring flood misery.
Gale force winds and rain have battered Wales for much of Thursday.
Homes have been flooded and some of main roads were left at a standstill while rescue services worked flat out across the country.
In Llanberis roads were cut off and rescue services went to a school in the town to help children get home.
Matthew Richards reports from the town.
35 Meter dive down to the Hydrobox at Stoney Cove + the Stanegarth
Chilly December dive down to 35 meters onto the deep Hydrobox at Stoney Cove then a look around the Stanegarth with dive buddy Cameron Cromwell.. 8 degree water, 1 degree air temperature.
