See residents flee erupting Fuego volcano in Guatemala
The death toll from Guatemala's Fuego volcano eruption keeps rising, and now more hazards threaten grieving residents.
At least 62 people were killed after the volcano erupted Sunday, spewing a river of lava and plumes of smoke almost 6 miles into the air, said Mirna Celedon, spokeswoman for Guatemala's Institute of Forensic Sciences. Thirteen of the dead have been identified so far.

A mass evacuation is underway in Guatemala, after the eruption of one of its most active volcanoes. The blast poured thick smoke and ash over Guatemala City and surrounding towns, killing dozens of people. Christina Espinosa, CEO and co-founder of GenteGas, experienced the eruption and described her experience to CGTN’s Mike Walter.

On 3 June, the Fuego volcano in Guatemala erupted, killing at least 113 people and leaving 332 missing. Thousands of victims have been displaced and are still living in temporary shelters. Questions are being asked about what the government's disaster prevention agency is doing to help victims. Guatemala’s Fuego volcano erupts
The Volcan de Fuego in Guatemala has erupted killing at least 25 people. One of Central America's most active volcanoes, Fuego erupted in fiery explosions of ash and molten rock Sunday, killing releasing a towering cloud of smoke which blanketed nearby villages in heavy ash.

Search for family as Guatemala's volcano erupts
The fury of Guatemala's Mount Fuego volcano has not fallen silent yet.
This weekend it released another flow of burning debris and rock, a week after the eruption which left at least 110 people dead and thousands of homes destroyed.
Some families are so desperate to find out what's happened to their missing relatives that they are venturing back into a zone so dangerous the authorities have called off the search. We have been with them to find out if anyone's left alive.

Hikers film stunning eruption of Fuego volcano in Guatemala
Hikers had to race to a safer place on Nov. 24, 2018 after the Fuego volcano in Antigua, Guatemala erupted as they were ascending the mountain, with one hiker saying they felt safe but called it the craziest experience of their life.
The mountain has seen a lot of activity this year, with an eruption in June leaving 110 people dead and more than 190 missing. The volcano sent ash and dirt into the air which swallowed homes, and more than 770 people were left in shelters, some of whom lost entire extended families.
The June event was considered its greatest eruption in four decades.

A team of volcanologists and engineers from the Universities of Cambridge and Bristol has collected measurements from directly within volcanic clouds, together with visual and thermal images of inaccessible volcano peaks at Volcán de Fuego and Volcán de Pacaya in Guatemala.
Guatemala: Drone captures destruction caused by Fuego eruption
A drone flew over El Rodeo village in the foothills of the Fuego volcano on Sunday, capturing the trail of destruction caused by an 8km (5 miles) lava flow.
Seven people, three of whom were children, were confirmed dead by local firefighters. More are thought to be trapped inside.
Over 300 people were injured and 3,100 people have been evacuated reported Guatemala's CONRED national disaster management agency.
Fuego – which means 'fire' in Spanish – spewed a stream of lava and emitted a huge cloud of black smoke and ash which rained onto the capital Guatemala City.
