ICELAND'S MAGIC :: A Magical Voyage into Nature (HD)
Iceland's unique, haunting beauty has attracted travelers through the ages. Home to a population of just 300,000, Iceland's interior highlands are a vast emptiness of uninhabited lands, where man and nature are truly alone with each other.
Filmed in fabulous HD 1080p, with incredible new footage taken during and shortly after the Eyjafjallajokull eruption, our camera takes us to remote areas and high above this breathtaking landscape for a moving panorama of just a few of Iceland's contrasting vistas, some accessible only by helicopter: deserted black sand beaches, steaming ash covered glaciers torn asunder by red hot volcanic lava, misty lowlands, primordial desert planes and glacial lagoons.
Enjoy the magnificence of nature and capture the serenity of Iceland's magical beauty!

Iceland Heli Trip 2014
Here is my buddy Allan Brook's video from our Heli trip to Iceland in April of 2014. Great Arctic Heli Skiing experience in Siglufjordur (Just north of Akureyri) in Northern Iceland. Lots of wide open unchartered terrain, natural hot springs, and super nice people! All followed by a little throw down party time in Reykjavik!
The Bardarbunga volcano in Iceland: A masterpiece of Mother Nature
Something extraordinary is happening in Iceland...
Lava just keeps on flowing from the Bardarbunga volcano. It started to erupt in August last year.
The lava field now spreads over more than 80 square kilometres, as amazing now aerial footage shows.
High values of sulphuric dioxide are still being recorded and this has, in the past, led to evacuations of local villages.
In 2010, a cloud of abrasive ash from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano, in a different region of Iceland, closed much of Europe…

Iceland's Bardabunga Volcano Puts On Breathtaking Lava Display
The Bardabunga volcano in Iceland continues to put on quite a show, with lava pouring out of a gash, or fissure, in the ground. The latest fissure eruption, which began on Sunday, could go on for weeks, if not longer. It may also lead to a greater hazard — an explosive eruption that sends large clouds of ash into the air and melts glacial ice, causing flooding. Such ash clouds are hazardous to modern jet aircraft, and an explosive eruption in Iceland could snarl trans-Atlantic air traffic again — as when the Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted in 2010.
Flight over the erupting volcano Bardarbunga, Iceland, 30 Dec 2014
We took a sightseeing flight with Eagle Air from Reykjavik on 30 Dec 2014 to see the erupting volcano at Bardarbunga. An unforgettable experience.
Particularly unforgettable was the frustration of trying to get my Nikon S6300 to take a video that was actually in focus.
Anyway to compensate for the fuzzy visuals I have added:
1. Some bubbling volcanic music made with my home-brew synthesiser The Fatduino. This was multitracked live into a digital recorder.
2. Some calculations which demonstrate that the thermal power of this volcano is comparable to the total energy consumption of the UK. (Numbers make the world go round....)
Best enjoyed while scalding your lip on a superheated rotten egg in close proximity to a 2-bar electric fire, for the all-round sensory experience.

ICELAND: LAND OF FIRE - Bardarbunga volcano eruption (DJI Phantom 2 drone flying in fire and snow)
The Holuhraun eruption area of Bardarbunga volcano has you maybe never seen before. An amazing storm of fire and snow: the Icelandic power of nature. This is the story of our photographic expedition with Iceland Review Staff, from Reykjavik to Holuhraun in a 32 hours of no-stop journey. A round-trip to hell that I will never forgot.
The video includes the aerial view of Holuhrau eruption area realized with a DJI Phantom 2 drone in a very extreme condition during a windy day and under a strong snow storm, near the hot volcano lava.
All the photographs are taken by a Nikon D810 and Nikon D700.
