This video is part of OnTrack, a flight-planning tool designed to give both fixed- and rotary-wing pilots greater situational awareness before they fly, covering 13 aerodromes around Australia.
OnTrack is a practical tool for your flight preparation and you must use it in conjunction with thorough route planning. Always check ERSA, NOTAMs and the weather before you fly.

RARE | Learjet 35A VH-OVB Takeoff Moorabbin
Managed to catch this rare visitor departing Moorabbin after seeing it arriving on FlightRadar24 after a 5 minute flight from Essendon. Any kind of business jet is a rarity at Moorabbin, which is one of Australia's busiest airports, although its primary focus is general aviation and some small airline operations using C208s. Additionally this video is from what I can see, the first of VH-OVB on YouTube! This 33 year old aircraft is owned by Shortstop Jet Charter, and is based out of Essendon. I must thank AJ from the YMML Spotting Team for helping me with information about other departures/arrivals on this day - thanks mate!

Concordia Air Freight
Concordia is an international Air Freight company with 15 offices in the US and 8 in the UK.
This corporate video production, produced with KCD Media, was shot at the UK Headquaters and features footage of the operation run by Concordia - their delivery vans and trucks plus an insight into their US based operations and the services on offer to their clients.
We utilized a GoPro during the shoot to attach to the side of vans and trucks and forklifts to create some dynamic shots which represented movement - which is exactly what the company are all about.
Motion graphic elements were included to visualize the transport routes and the locations in the US and UK. The maps are completely accurate as to these!
Directed and Edited by Geoff Cockwill.
Motion Graphics by Ben Milner.
Voice-over by Louise Gookey.
Executive Producer - Andy Kay.
Equipment - Canon 5D, Glidetrack, GoPro Hero 2.
Moorabbin Airport Noise & Safety Complaints
More information at (c) 2013-2014
Community safety and amenity must come before the business of joy flights, training overseas pilots and recreational aviation. The local community also needs to be put ahead of the business earnings of the property developer known as the Moorabbin Airport Corporation (MAC).
The Moorabbin Airport is a discretionary facility and there are eight other facilities like it in regional Victoria which could be used to reduce the impact of the Moorabbin Airport.
The community, the local environment, health, amenity and quality of life is being undermined by unethical, inconsiderate and sometimes dangerous aviation in and around the Moorabbin Airport.
The current community experience is well below international best practice and shameful in a developed country like Australia.
Aviation and the Moorabbin Airport should expect to make concessions for the densely populated community surrounding the airport. It is contemptible to suggest that the airport was there first and that residents should put up with it or move. We are well past using this sort of juvenile argument to frustrate basic human rights, ethics and community health and well being.
Every credible report into aviation tells us that aviation is a mobile industry which can be appropriated re-located or dispersed without impacting viability, economics or jobs.
The Moorabbin Airport does not have to closed but it must radically reduce the amount and type of aircraft movement to and from the site. There is also a desperate need for a charter of basic environmental standards to protect the community from the impacts of discretionary aviation - currently there is nothing that does this. Moorabbin aviation and the Airport Corporation are even exempt from EPA guidelines and the normal development guidelines which constrain every other form of business activity and commerce.
Chemtrailing Over Melbourne Exposed
Whilst on my way to Melbourne City, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I saw what appeared to be a contrail emerging from a distant cloud. However, what caught my attention was the contrail only began after the cloud; there was no trail inside the cloud. Things got really peculiar when the contrail just shut off then back on; this happened twice. Three minutes later, another short trail appeared aside the gap of the previous trail, but going in the opposite direction. My friend I was sitting next to also made a remark saying they must spray something up there; my friend knows nothing about chemtrails.
My ADS-B radar app showed no planes or aircraft above 500 metres in the area where the abnormal contrails were spotted, or any part of the south-eastern suburbs. The app did however show an Agusta A-109 helicopter which had just take off from Moorabbin Airport Corporation. It never flew above 500 metres according to the app though.
The only reason i'm calling this a chemtrail and not a contrail is because of the systematic nature of the trail. Contrails don't abruptly disappear and reappear and then have another contrail appear alongside the gap in the opposite direction at the same time. This was clearly a coordinated and planned event. While I do understand that contrails do in fact disappear and reappear, it is not systematic in nature. From the naked eye, there where very sharp ends to the trails. They were only isolated in this part of the sky and were not seen beyond this point.
