Vue Cinemas pulls Blue Story from venues after fighting breaks out in Birmingham | ITV News
Vue Cinemas has pulled a gang film from its venues as a police chief described disturbances ahead of a viewing as possibly “the worst thing” some officers had seen.
Blue Story will no longer be shown at any of its 91 outlets in the UK and Ireland after seven police officers were injured on Saturday at Star City in Birmingham.
The film's director Andrew Onwubolu, known as Rapman, has said the story is about love not violence and said he hopes the blame is placed on the individuals and not the film itself.

Returning back home coming to a snowy hometown, at around three inches it wasn't the deepest snowfall we had compared to the south but it still given an opportunity for some unique and spectacular photography.
These photos follow my usual walk around the rural parts of Fensicowles and Leeds Liverpool Canal areas of Blackburn, Lancashire, starting in my back garden I walk along a path that leads up to Horden Farm over the fields, crossing Brokenstone Road leads me to Fowler Fold Farm, crossing the fields I then walk from Stockclough Lane, along a footpath by the Leeds and Liverpool canal, I end near Stanworth Woods and by the former Sun and Star mills before walking along the canal footpath home.
These photos were taken over two days.
