Cette vidéo montre que le moteur est capable de fonctionner avec une flamme très faible et donc avec un apport de chaleur très réduit. On y voit aussi un dispositif de compensation de fuite, car les pistons n'ont pas de joints, et sont donc légèrement fuyards.

Parabole motorisée avec Stirling
Parabole motorisée avec au centre du foyer un moteur Stirling.
Le pilotage est réalisé avec un ARDUINO UNO.
Le moteur Stirling et la parabole motorisée ont été réalisé au lycée Jean Monnet de Foulayronnes.
Le suivi du soleil se fait grâce à un tube suiveur qui possède 4 Cellules (LDR).
Le principe du suivi: Si les 4 cellules reçoivent la même quantité de lumière cela signifie que la parabole est dans l'axe du soleil. Autrement il faut motoriser la parabole à droite ou à gauche, en haut ou en bas.
