Vulture Peak, Wickenburg, AZ hike
Climbing Vulture Peak, south of Wickenburg, AZ. At 3,600 ft. (1100 m.), Vulture Peak is the highest point in the Vulture Mountains of northwest Maricopa County. The final 250 ft. are a steep scramble up a narrow chute. Basically, Vulture Peak is Camelback with more scramble, no safety cable, and *MANY* fewer people. Vulture Peak has 360° views of Phoenix, the Bradshaw Mountains, Yarnell Hill, Wickenburg, the Harcuvar Mountains, Harquahala Mountain, the Vulture Mine, the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and the White Tank Mountains.

#vanlife Is new to this generation; a counter-culture whose mission is based around the idea of living more outdoors, being eco-friendly, and often times affortable. There are different off shots of this culture that are known as Escapees, Escapers, RubberTrampers, Digital Nomads, Snow birds, Rainbow kids, dirt bags, etc. People live in anything that moves, SUVs, cars, trucks, campers, trailers, bikes, tents, Class A's, school buses, step vans, Subaru's, and more. Some of us ask if others are full-timers or part timers This just means if you have a sticks and bricks(house) home base or if you have sold everything and are always on the road. I have been full time in my van for 2 1/2 years camping, boondocking, stealth camping, driveway surfing, parking lot hopping along the way. Every place is new and different and I have friends in many states now. The day to day life is interesting and filled with unknowns. I do get frustrated at it sometimes but I find that even after a few months of staying still I need to pick up and keep going. Seasonal and temporary jobs keep me going but also your support of my channel. I don't know if I would be still on the road in this capacity if it wasn't for your support and encouragement. I feel honored to have so many people rooting for me to keep at it! Through trials and tribulations, sunrises and sunsets this lifestyle change has been a growing experience.
Stay Curious!

This video describes how to get to Free Camping just a few miles west of Wickenburg, AZ. The first site is actually AZ State Trust Land and you need a permit. The next site is Box Canyon and is a free 14 day BLM camping area. This desert is outrageous! Cell service is a bit spotty in the BLM area.

TRUE MYSTERY FINDING THE LOST DUTCHMAN AT VULTURE MINE WICKENBURG MYTHS LEGENDS AND LIES J.SCHRECK
The Vulture mine began in 1863 when Henry Wickenburg, a prospector from California's gold rush, discovered a quartz outcropping containing gold. Shortly after the mine was established a small mining town was developed. It was called Vulture City. The town once had a population of several thousand citizens with such amenities as a brothel, mess hall, and post office.
The desert surrounding the Vulture Mine did not give much in the way of produce, so an enterprising individual by the name of Jack Swilling went into the Phoenix Valley and reopened the irrigation canals left by the native peoples. Agriculture was brought back to the valley, and a grain route was established. This grain route still exists today under the name of Grand Avenue. Phoenix, Arizona, grew up around the agricultural center spawned by the needs of the Vulture Mine.
In 1942, the Vulture Mine was shut down by a regulatory agency for processing gold. This was a violation at the time because all resources were to be focused on the war effort. The mine appealed the shut-down order and reopened, but with less vigor. A few years later, the mine closed for an extended period. The mine is in operation once again on a separate property but is not open to the public. PSYCHOTIC/ MYTHS LEGENDS AND LIES is a unsolved network searching for age old questions of the life we live. Along this journey to discover the truth, we encounter and discover a little bit more about who we are. Regardless of the legend (bigfoot , lost dutchman area 51 etc) we search out the clues that will lead us to the answers of the universe . We are treasure hunters and the only thing that changes in our journey is the treasure itself . Knowledge also can be five times more valuable than gold . We risk condtions to find the clues that will make unsloved riddles SOLVED and we never stop searching for the keys that unlock these mysterys . We travel the world to find the truth . And sometimes the truth is bigger than the myth . Sometimes we run into paranormal and sometimes the real story is horrifying. We search out secret societys , cults rituals and super natural . We track serial killers , goverment conspiracys mythical creatures on land and sea . We search , WE FIND .
My Son Jacob & Me Exploring the Desert in Wickenburg Arizona
My son Jacob and I had the time of our life in the Wickenburg Mountains West of Phoenix. It was such a blessing to spend that time with my son. I value my son and respect his hard work at school and around other people. I like to reward my son when he does well by taking him to historic places, fishing, baseball, basketball, doing the stuff he likes to do. I just want everyone to know how wonderful it is to have a child like Jacob you can love and care for. I always pray for my son and help him every chance I get with his school work because an education is the most important thing for a child to have. Survival of the fittest is in the mind, and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Ludwig Nevada - Part 4 Prominent Landmarks Of A Forgotten Town
It was an early morning the sun just came up this time we were heading back to Ludwig to do a more extensive exploration into this once thriving metropolis. As the morning revealed to us many prominent landmarks such as the Witches Circle, Mt. Seigel, Galena Peak, Smith Valley, Mason Valley, Shamrock HIll, Artesia Lake and so many more. What would we find and where would we go the road to nowhere was ours? The remoteness of this location and serenity is truly remarkable. Not to mention that the road to get here was once part of the old Copper Belt Railroad bed. The valley is full of prominent sites and one can clearly see that the ghost town of Ludwig aka Morningstar is nestled up along the steep Singaske Range. Our adventure had just begin and with these views it became all the more sweeter! One can see in the distance the infamous Witches Circle which are murals painted on the old copper plant a true mill of its time in the region!
