AWESOME SUMMIT HIKE! Vulture Peak Trail, Wickenburg, Arizona
Attacked by happy dogs, swarm of bees, sneaky lizards, and VULTURES! This is an awesome trail to the summit of Vulture Peak. Majority of the trail is maintained except for the last bit to summit the peak. A great hike to do while in Arizona.

#vanlife Is new to this generation; a counter-culture whose mission is based around the idea of living more outdoors, being eco-friendly, and often times affortable. There are different off shots of this culture that are known as Escapees, Escapers, RubberTrampers, Digital Nomads, Snow birds, Rainbow kids, dirt bags, etc. People live in anything that moves, SUVs, cars, trucks, campers, trailers, bikes, tents, Class A's, school buses, step vans, Subaru's, and more. Some of us ask if others are full-timers or part timers This just means if you have a sticks and bricks(house) home base or if you have sold everything and are always on the road. I have been full time in my van for 2 1/2 years camping, boondocking, stealth camping, driveway surfing, parking lot hopping along the way. Every place is new and different and I have friends in many states now. The day to day life is interesting and filled with unknowns. I do get frustrated at it sometimes but I find that even after a few months of staying still I need to pick up and keep going. Seasonal and temporary jobs keep me going but also your support of my channel. I don't know if I would be still on the road in this capacity if it wasn't for your support and encouragement. I feel honored to have so many people rooting for me to keep at it! Through trials and tribulations, sunrises and sunsets this lifestyle change has been a growing experience.
Stay Curious!
Karli

Summit hike to Vulture Peak - Wickenburg Arizona
Vulture Peak Trail, seven miles south of Wickenburg, Arizona, is a short but steep trail that takes hikers from the base of Vulture Peak to a saddle just below the summit in only two miles. From this point, experienced hikers can scramble up an extremely steep and narrow chute to the summit of Vulture Peak itself (3,660 feet). The final ascent is not maintained and should be attempted only by experienced and well-conditioned hikers.
Vulture Peak Trail meanders through classic Sonoran Desert landscapes, including dense stands of saguaro, ocotillo, cholla, and other cactus varieties; crosses wide desert washes; and offers dramatic scenic vistas of rugged desert mountain ranges and valleys in all directions.
Vulture Peak, Wickenburg, AZ hike
Climbing Vulture Peak, south of Wickenburg, AZ. At 3,600 ft. (1100 m.), Vulture Peak is the highest point in the Vulture Mountains of northwest Maricopa County. The final 250 ft. are a steep scramble up a narrow chute. Basically, Vulture Peak is Camelback with more scramble, no safety cable, and *MANY* fewer people. Vulture Peak has 360° views of Phoenix, the Bradshaw Mountains, Yarnell Hill, Wickenburg, the Harcuvar Mountains, Harquahala Mountain, the Vulture Mine, the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station and the White Tank Mountains.

Wickenburg, AZ Box Wash Vulture Peak Free BLM Camping
This video describes how to get to Free Camping just a few miles west of Wickenburg, AZ. The first site is actually AZ State Trust Land and you need a permit. The next site is Box Canyon and is a free 14 day BLM camping area. This desert is outrageous! Cell service is a bit spotty in the BLM area.

My Son Jacob & Me Exploring the Desert in Wickenburg Arizona
My son Jacob and I had the time of our life in the Wickenburg Mountains West of Phoenix. It was such a blessing to spend that time with my son. I value my son and respect his hard work at school and around other people. I like to reward my son when he does well by taking him to historic places, fishing, baseball, basketball, doing the stuff he likes to do. I just want everyone to know how wonderful it is to have a child like Jacob you can love and care for. I always pray for my son and help him every chance I get with his school work because an education is the most important thing for a child to have. Survival of the fittest is in the mind, and a mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Off Roading, U.S. Hwy. 60 to Harquahala Peak TH, AZ
Off roading on Forest Road 9332, from U.S. Highway 60, just east of Wenden, in the Arizona Outback of La Paz County, to the trailhead of Harquahala Peak, namesake of the Harquahala Mountains. It's a short drive, but not recommended for cars. My vehicle is a stock 2013 Acura RDX AWD, with Michelin Primacy MXV4 Radial Tires; the dashcam is a SpyTec A118C.

The video speeds up to try to keep the total time down, but it still comes out to about 37 minutes.
I decided to use a few classical pieces of music for this video. The music fit really nicely for the video and most of the splashes seemed to be timed perfectly.

Parker, Quartzsite and Wickenburg, Arizona -Road Trip Pt 2- RV Travel
Join Morgan and I, along with Honey ( of course), on the 2nd leg of our road trip. We journey through Parker, Quartzsite and Wickenberg in this video. We were traveling quickly, as Morgan had to be in Phoenix to catch her flight home to BC on the 23rd of February. Unfortunately, our leaving BC had been delayed due to snow, so our leisurely drive had turned into a bit of a race. The weather was not what we had hope for either as the days were cold, and the nights colder. But, we enjoyed the journey regardless and were able to spend some 'mom and daughter' time together.
Morgan writes a lovely blog where she shares recipes and book reviews, as well as her own personal journey through being the parent of a special needs child. You can find her at
