Vuokatti Safari is a business based in Vuokatti, Finland. It offers many different kinds of experiences for the tourists, to the local finns, some of the exciting range of programs include, the Husky Safari itself, which is a real must for anyone, i am now completely hooked by the way and i'm really looking forward to the summertime now, where we have the opportunity to experience the huskys pulling customers around in a craddled wheeled buggy, instead of the sledges that of course rely on the disappearance of the much needed snow. Also on offer in the wintertime is Snow Shoeing and for those of us that want more speed from the dog pulling, is Vuokatti's ski-doo service, that runs all through the winter taking customers on various km trails, and stopping to enjoy the views by an open fire, while snacking on a cup of coffee and a grilled sausage, which is very traditional for Finnish hikers whether alone or with there families. In the summertime Vuokatti Safaris offer ATV's (all terain vehicles), to replace the Ski-doos, another awesome experience. There is the RIB boat Safari, Hiking with the safaris Huskies and also a Fishing experience on the beautiful clear Finnish lakes that offer delicious Salmon, Pike and some Trout. If you are ever in Vuokatti (the hub of excitement in the Kainuu area, in mid.
