In this vlog, I got to finally visit the W.E.B DuBois Center in Accra and learn more about his role during the Civil Rights Movement. I also went on a canopy walk for the first time! Ive had a lot of firsts in Ghana.
As this experience comes to an end, I am so thankful for everything I have gotten to learn and experience. This is definitely not goodbye to Ghana, but see you later :)

TOURING W.E.B. DuBois Memorial Center for PanAfrican Culture in Accra Ghana
W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture is a memorial place, a research facility and tourist attraction in the Cantonments area of Accra, Ghana, that was opened to the public in 1985.
The story of W.E.B. Du Bois
Realising that the colour of his skin was likely to make life a bit more difficult for him, he set out to change the status quo. He told himself, he would make a name in science, a name in literature and therefore raise the image of his race. In the end that is exactly what he did, with hard work, perseverance and dedication. The man William Edward Burghardt W.E.B. Du Bois pushed the frontiers to rise above prejudice and suppression to advance the course of African-Americans and Africans and become a leader in the Pan Africanist movement. We bring you the second part of the story.
