A Trip to Waco Mammoth National Monument
Me and my little buddy Caden took a quick trip to Waco to visit the National Monument. The site has been opened to the public since 2009 but just became a National Monument in 2015.
Entrance fees were $5 for adults and $3 for kids. The whole place took about 1.5 hours to tour. Very interesting place with really nice tour guides.

Adventure can be far away or in your own backyard. We took a short trip to Waco, Texas where we found one of America's treasures, a monument dedicated in 2015 to the Columbian Mammoths. A great family friendly day destination for those looking for something a little different.
