Tethyan Basin was independently developing and had no influence from Indian Plate or Eurasian plate. Faunal similarities of Indian and Chinese fauna during upper Subathu passage beds show that there was great similarity between the two showing existence of land bridge.
Similarly fossil flora similarity with Indo Malaya region shows that the two were interconnected

Documentary Film of Institute Of Seismological Research (DST), GOG
Vishkanya*30 July 1991*Jane Man Samjho Ishare*Sharon Prabhakar
On July 15, 1945, the tension at the Trinity site was palpable. Robert had made a pact with Kitty: If the bomb worked, he would send her a banal message, “You can change the sheets.”
It was established in June, 1968 in the Botany Department, Delhi University, the Institute was shifted to Dehradun, Uttrakhand during April, 1976.
The institute also has three field search stations, at Naddi-Dharamsala, Dokriani Bamak Glacier Station and at Itanagar in Arunachal Pradesh.
Sharon Prabhakar (born 4 August 1955) is an Indian pop singer, theatre personality and public speaker.
Protima Gauri Bedi (October 12, 1948 – August 18, 1998) was an Indian model turned odissi exponent. In 1990, she established Nrityagram, a dance village near Bangalore.
Protima's son Siddarth who was suffering from schizophrenia, committed suicide in July 1997, while he was studying in North Carolina, this changed the course of her life irrevocably, as in early 1998, she announced her retirement and changed her name to Protima Gauri, soon she started travelling in the Himalayan region, starting with Leh.
In a newspaper interview given in April, 1997, camping at Rishikesh during the Kumbh Mela, she said, I have decided to give myself up to the Himalayas.
Subsequently, in August, Protima Gauri set off on her pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar and it was there that she disappeared after the Malpa landslide, near Pithoragarh, in the Himalayas. Her remains and belongings were later recovered after several days along with seven other bodies as remains of a landslide in Malpa, a village near the India-Nepal border.
The Malpa landslide was one of the worst landslides in India. On 18 August 1998 at 3.00 a.m., massive landslides wiped away the entire village of Malpa in the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, then in Uttar Pradesh) in Kali Valley of Higher Kumaon division of the Himalayas. The rockfall started on 16 August bringing down huge rocks which initially killed three mules. A total of 221 people died, including 60 Hindu pilgrims traveling to Tibet as part of Kailash Manas Sarovar Yatra.
The rockfall continued till 21 August. As the area lies in a seismic zone, the earthquakes of 1979 and 1980 may have been the underlying cause as was attributed by a report of the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology.
The traditional source of the (Maha)Kali is the pond of the Kali temple at Kalapani.
The Pancheshwar Dam, a joint venture of India and Nepal for irrigation and hydro-electric power generation was proposed on this river, in 1995, named as Sarayu or Kali River.
The Sarayu forms at the confluence of the Karnali (or Ghaghara) and Mahakali (or Sharda) in Bahraich District.
Pooja Bedi (born 11 May 1970) is a former Bollywood actress, television talk show host.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.
