Wadsworth Falls State Park - Middletown, Connecticut - Edventure #1
Wadsworth Falls State Park, or simply Wadsworth Falls, is a Connecticut state park located in the towns of Middletown and Middlefield. The park lies in the northeast corner of Middlefield, and extends across the town border into Middletown with the main entrance on Route 157. The park itself consists of a series of marked trails covering 285 acres (1.15 km2) and is intersected by the Coginchaug River, a tributary of the Connecticut River.
There is also a swimming and picnicking area in the park grounds. The swimming pool is paved with soil cement to prevent leakage. Water is pumped from water wells located near the Coginchaug River. Through the hiking trails there is a small brown bridge leading to the falls. Wadsworth Falls is 30 feet (9.1 m) high, with 52 feet (16 m) of water trickling over sandstone along the trail.

DnSAdventures - Hiking Southford Falls State Park in Connecticut
In this week's adventure we headed over to Southford Falls State Park in Connecticut. We were very impressed with the cascading waterfalls near the entrance of the park! After we checked out the waterfalls we hiked the loop around the entire park where we saw a cool covered bridge and climbed a fire tower.

Snow Storm Walk Main Middletown CT
A walk down Main Street in Middletown during a snow storm on February 9th, 2017 (2/9/2017). The snow storm was called a Blizzard, and named Chris,... of all names...
This was captured near its end.
I used a manual stabilizer called the Roxant Pro Stabilizer, which is good on walks on normal days, but had a hard time on a windy day. The phone turns into a sort of kite and causes the direction to mess up. However it was better in these conditions than using an electronic stabilizer which would suffer unrecoverable damage.
This is unedited. I like walking in dangerous conditions and couldn't wait to do this, and I want you to experience what it is like walking through this. I once stood in the eye of a hurricane, and drove just ahead of a twister in Houston, TX, and I wouldn't mind a few more.
