A Winters Walk 2017, Waggoners Wells. Occasional Vlog #43
The next in our ongoing series of slightly more artistic videos. This one is of Waggoners Wells, just outside the town of Grayshott, Hampshire, on a snowy Saturday morning, taken whilst walking our dog Wiggins. Let us know what you think and anywhere you would like to see in future videos.
Waggoners Wells is a series of large ponds linked by streams and waterfalls, originally created in the 17th century.
Waggoners Wells was acquired by the National Trust in 1919 and dedicated to the memory of Sir Robert Hunter (1844-1913) the founder of The National Trust in 1895.
Along the walk through Waggoners Wells, we passed a wishing well that is credited as the location where Alfred, Lord Tennyson wrote the poem, Flower in the crannied wall.
