Kilauea Falls Kauai Hawaii
Kilauea Waterfalls are one of my favorites on the island. It requires a 35-minute hike down to the falls if you dont have 4x4 vehicle. You do cross some private ranchland that I believe the landowner graciously allows you to cross. The trail is actually one of the best-maintained trails on the island (this might be due to all the films made here). The trail is so wide and well maintained; you could have a two-lane road on most of it. It is a gradual decline all the way to the falls, which is 1.4 miles from the parking area on Kahili Quarry Road. The trail takes you past banana plants, guava, and tunnels of bamboo. The trail is enclosed in tropical scenery and you do get views of the River and Valley from time-to-time. Once you get down to the falls all that changes. You probably have a quarter of an acre that is grass manicured. This is an ideal spot for a LONG picnic lunch. The falls are approximately 50 feet tall and 150 feet across. There is a very large pool in front of the falls and some room behind the falls. If you decide to swim out to the falls and walk behind them you will see why they are know by the locals as Rainbow Falls. I was impressed and for the overall backdrop, quality of the falls, and large picnic area, Kilauea Falls are one of my all time favorites located on the Kilauea River.

Today's adventure led us up to Waipoo Falls, which lies deep within the Waimea Canyon on Kauai! It was such an amazing day!! Had the opportunity to meet a lot of new people from all over the world on the trail and took a swim in the waterfall:)
Just wanted to continue in sending my gratitude to all my supporters so far!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH !!:)
Waipoo Falls is the biggest waterfall you see from the main Waimea Canyon lookout looking to the left. If you drive past the lookout a few more miles you reach the beginning of the trail. If you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle you can drive down a narrow dirt road to save you about half a mile of walking. From there you have about a mile to get to the falls but as you are walking you are deep within the canyon looking into it almost the whole time. It is surreal.
As always please be considerate of the island by picking up your trash and staying on designated hiking trails. I would not recommend hiking when it is raining, wet, or muddy. There are multiple places where you are close to cliffs edge and it will be fatal. PLEASE KOKUA

Kipu Falls Kauai Hawaii
Kipu Falls is a small 25 ft. waterfall located south of Lihue in Puhi. The waterfall is popular because it has a swimming hole and is great for jumping off the falls into the pool or by a rope swing.
Kipu Falls can be accessed from a trail alongside Hule'ia Stream, on Kipu Rd. just before the bridge. The trail itself is overgrown but leads down to Kipu Falls. There is really not a good view of the falls from here. But this is where you would go if you wanted to get to the top of the falls for jumping off. On the other side of the stream is a ladder, which would allow you to get down to the swimming hole (or get back up after jumping off the falls).

Behind the Dam (HD 1080p) #dfivideo, #mrdfi
In the region of Kulcs (Hungary) a long stone dam was built along the riverside on the right shore between the 1589,5 and 1588,0 kilometer tables. Behind the dam a small river flows. (Kulcs térségében a bal oldali folyópart mentén az 1589,5 és 1588 folyamkilométer között egy hosszú kőgát épült. A kőgát mögött egy kis folyó folyik.)

Waipoo Falls - Waimea Canyon - Zoom Zoom!
These falls were a great test of my Nikon P900 camera. Using a tripod, I was able to get a much better look of the falls than the lookout point normally offers. Sadly, it was quite busy, so I didn't get time to film more.
This will also likely make it into one of our trip compilation videos, but I thought it interesting enough to get its own short video.
