Waiao beach is located on the East Coast of Taiwan in Yilan County. It is one of the main surfing spot in Northern Taiwan with dozens of Surf shops where you can easily rent boards .
Warning: Don't do the same as I did and make sure there is enough waves for surfing before going.
How to get there? : Train from Taipei Main Station to Toucheng Station or Kuokuang Bus 1877 from Yuanshan MRT Station to Wu Shi Gang Harbor.

Maganda supeh mga luluvs..Sa mga taiwan friend ko taipei yuanshan mrt red line station kayo baba tas sa likod yung sakayan papuntang toucheng yilan beach then take a bus 1877 last station kulang 2hrs pala ang byahe guys kaya may time pa kayo para matulog tas pag dating sa last station ng toucheng yilan lakad unti papunta sa beach super nakaka relax sa mga taong beach lovers...go lang kayo dun guys no intrance..
Where To Be At... Waiao Beach
After a successful 2017 Silk Road Indie Music Festival, Musictochina.com took in some of the beach culture in Taiwan country. Primarily in The Toucheng Township at Waiao Beach. Where you can get off the train turn left upon exiting the station and you’re at the best Pizza Pub That loves surfing, Drifter’s. With live music, great beer, cocktails, and the most amazing pizza in Taiwan...and if you want to surf and stay on the beach. The best surf hostel, Rising Sun, is located across the street! That’s my shout out to the two great places to stay, eat, surf, and party when in Waiao Beach Taiwan.

Taiwan Scootering - Xinzhuang to Fulong Beach
This is my scooter ride from Xinzhaung (New Taipei City) to Fulong Beach. It's my first vlog and just wanted to give everyone back home a general idea of driving in Taiwan. There is some city driving, mountain roads and the bigger coast road. Hope you enjoy it and sorry again for the shaky camera (driving one handed on bumpy roads).
