The fruit for this wine was sourced from Glasnevin vineyard in Waipara Valley, 'at the end of the earth, high in the mountainess region of New Zealand's south island grows the mountain buttercup, delicate and beautiful, it belies its harsh upbringing. Waipara Hills is part of the same wild landscape where vines have survived perilous winters to produce complex, elegant wines for you to enjoy.' This rich, mouth-filling wine displays tropical aromas of melon, apple and pineapple with a hint of butterscotch.

today i am going Waipara Hills for Wine Tasting.
The Waipara Hills Cellar Door is located in the picturesque Waipara Valley, just 50km north of Christchurch. Set amongst landscaped gardens, with spectacular views across The Home Block Vineyard to the Teviotdale Hills, our home captures the ‘Soul of the South’.
Specialising in aromatics, visitors to the cellar door can enjoy Waipara Hills Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir.
Waipara Hills is open 10.00am – 5.00pm daily for tastings and lunch and is host to many special events. We are closed Good Friday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day.
