Howth and Howth Cliff Walk: a perfect day trip from Dublin
Howth and the Howth Cliff Walk are perfect for a day trip from Dublin. In this small guide, I'll show you around Howth and, most of all, the famous Howth Cliff Walk which is perfect if you want to escape from the city center and find a bit of Ireland very close to Dublin. The walk is not hard and the first part is very touristy but if you continue walking, you will end up in a Paradise where it's going to be you and very few people around. How to arrive in Howth:
You can reach Howth using the DART from Dublin's city center (25 minutes)
Hop on the 31, 31, 31b from Dublin City Centre to Howth.
Once in Howth, you can have a walk around the village and the beach, have a look at the famous seals in Howth and then, eventually, start your hike on the Howth Cliff Walk to arrive in Sutton.
You can also do the opposite: arrive in Sutton and start the Howth Cliff Walk from Sutton towards Howth.
In both cases, the Howth Cliff Path is just an amazing day to spend your time when in Dublin.

ON a fine September morning we take a walk across the River Liffey and over into the Temple Bar section of the old town center and up to Christ Church Cathedral. Then over to Dublin Castle, on to St. Stephen's Green, through Trinity College, and back to O'Connel St.
Dublin is an amazing place, full of history, architecture, and pubs. The foods not to bad either though hotels and accommodation is a bit expensive. I had several pints of Guinness while there but also tried several other Irish beers which were even better. As far as food and what to eat goes, my favorite was Irish Stew and also Lamb. I lucked out on the weather and our several days there were all sunny to partly cloudy but it can get rainy.
There's a bit more talking in this one and I apologize for the bumpy gimbal. It broke literally seconds after I pushed stop on the camera. I think I have it fixed now and hope to get a couple more towns and cities before we leave Ireland. I hope you enjoy this free walking tour Dublin.

Howth Cliffs, Dublin, Ireland | How to get to howth cliff walk from dublin
The Howth Cliff provides one the most picturesque walks in Ireland. Its one of the best options for one day trip from dublin. Personally I felt the place recharges your batteries during hectic schedules. It is hard to imagine that this magical place is only 30 minutes outside Dublin city center. If you want to go on this walk, just get to the city center, there is a bus (number 31) every few minutes from Talbot street or you can take a dart from the Connolly station.

2 Days in DUBLIN | Exploring Howth and Cliffs of Moher

We spent the first few days of 2018 in Dublin, Ireland.
We were suppose to go to the Cliffs of Moher tour on the first day but due to extreme wind, the tour was cancelled. Coincidentally when we were in a cab, the driver suggested exploring Howth, a city 20 mins drive from Dublin. It was such a peaceful town and it had a breathtaking cliff walk. However, we were not dressed to the event and could not complete it and had to turn back and use another route within the town. Nonetheless, we caught a beautiful sunset by the pier and had yummy seafood for Dinner!
The 2nd day we went on the tour bus to go to the Cliff of Moher. It was 3 hours drive. The wind was really crazy that Kavin didn't even dare walk. I was holding on to my camera for dear life and the stone walls as wall. My hair got so tangled! The formation of the Cliffs was such a magnificent combination of million years of mud, sand and wind. The cliff is 10 mins from Doolin, which is a surfer's paradise due it to giant 10-12ft tall waves during the end of January. Such a wonderful experience!
I definitely hope to come back again to Dublin and explore the city itself! The culture and town looks so interesting.

Vlog #23 - 7th of January. Most of the week I had the flu and spent at home, but with my friend visiting and me feeling a little better on Saturday, I agreed to a hike around beautiful Howth here in Ireland.

Walking around Howth Ireland | Joyvel
This time I wanted to go alone to take my time making some videos and photography, unfortunately the weather was not in favor but almost in the end of the day the sky cleared up and I could see the bright sun.
Howth is a peninsula northeast of Dublin City in Ireland. Howth falls under the local governance of Fingal County Council. Entry to the headland is at Sutton while the village of Howth and the harbour are on the northern shore. Baily Lighthouse is on the southeastern part of Howth Head. Nearby are the districts of Baldoyle and Portmarnock.
