KYOTO TEMPLES AND SHRINES WALKING TOUR - Gion and Higashiyama
A walking tour of some of Kyoto's most beautiful temples and shrines in the Gion District and Higashiyama District. You could do this tour all in one day, but realistically, you should take at least two. We visit Nishiki Tenmangu Shrine, Kenninji Temple, Yasaka Shrine (and Yasaka Pagoda), and then wind through the preserved streets of the Higashiyama District to Kiyomizudera Temple.
These are just a handful of shrines and temples to see in Kyoto. There are so many additional incredible sites and attractions. More videos coming soon.

The garden was first established in 1924, fell into disuse in 1946, and was restarted in 1961. As of 2007, it contains about 120,000 plants representing some 12,000 species.
The garden also contains a very substantial conservatory complex (4,612 m²) containing about 25,000 specimens representing 4,500 species. It is a set of rooms shaped to resemble the nearby Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kyoto's northern mountains, built of glass with iron frames, and opened in 1992.

Kyoto Walking tour Part 2 - Day 5 - aJapaneseDream.com
Day 2 walking around Kyoto. This time we visited Arashiyama and the Gion district as well as a short trip to the Red Light area.
We would like to apologize for the shakey footage and wind noise etc. This video was filmed entirely on my cellphone (HTC Butterfly J) so it will appear slightly different than the other videos but hopefully you still enjoy it.
Walking around Higashiyama in Kyoto Japan - Kiyomizu-dera, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka, Yasaka Pagoda 【4K】
Kyoto (京都市) was Japan's capital for over a thousand years, and was the center of Japanese art, religion, architecture and political power. The accumulated treasures of that long history are well preserved in the city today, making it one of Japan's most visited cities.
Higashiyama (東山区 meaning east mountain) is one of the eleven wards in the city of Kyoto, in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Many of the locations central to the development of 15th-century Japanese culture known as Higashiyama Bunka are found here or in Sakyō-ku. Both the entertainment district of Gion in front of Yasaka Shrine, and the area around the stone-paved roads Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka that lead up to the World Heritage Kiyomizu-deraTemple, enjoy protected status to preserve the traditional style buildings.
Kiyomizu-dera Temple (清水寺) was built in the 8th century and was destroyed by fire. This temple was reconstructed in the 17th centruy to represent traditional structures in Kyoto.

360 Walking Tours of Japan - Kiyomizudera Temple in Kyoto - Letters from Japan
This is a walking tour of Kiyomizudera Temple in 360 degree video. You can use the YouTube app on your phone or tablet to video the video (you don't need VR goggles.) Alternatively, you can view it in the Google Chrome browser (but the YouTube app is much better in my opinion.)
Editing 360 video requires processes that are beyond me at this point due to a limited amount of time, so I apologize for the shaky camera and especially the part where I have to put my shoes on. Fee free to fast forward through any of this.
If you'd like to see more 360 degree video, please let me know down in the comments.
