Just a camera floating among the crowd. Virtual Walking Tour. Walking Tour of Mexico City - Videowalk in 4K by Wanna Walk
Almost everything about Mexico City is true. You can call it: dangerous, beautiful, dirty, cultural, crowded, street food paradise, etc. In fact, the New York Times named Mexico City as the number one travel destination, calling it “the metropolis that has it all”. Mexico City is becoming recognized as a world class metropolis in terms of authenticity, economy, architecture, cuisine and culture. Yet, many travelers avoid Mexico City for its reputation so this video is to show you a little of this 22+ million people civilization. Welcome to Ciudad de México.

Who is Mexico a Pie?
“México a pie” /‘me·ji·ko a pi·eh/ is a company that offers walking tours by different streets and with different themes – basically in the historic center – but also in some other zones and attractions within the city.
Visit the Palace of the Fine Arts, the emblematic “Postal Office” building, the “Torre Latinoamericana” and its anti seismic system in its foundation, the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral, the continent’s largest, in just one cost-free walking tour?
This will be a great introduction to our city, a magnificent way to fall in love with Mexico, and its wonderful stories and magical corners.
We’re sure you’ll want to keep walking in the city with us.
Take a group tour and know a Mexico of contrasts; walking by places built during the first years of the Spanish rule, to know emblematic places of the independence period or by buildings over 100 years old, and finishing it in the modern Mexican skyscrapers.
Reserve a private tour and visit the National Museum of History – located in the only royal castle in the Americas: Chapultepec Castle.
Visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the second most visited catholic sanctuary of the world – just behind the Basilica of Saint Peter in Vatican City.
Feel with us the energy surrounding the majestic Teotihuacan – City of Gods – with a few hours long tour, or visit one of the gems in the Gulf of Mexico, the Totonac ancient city of Tajin, in a day-long tour visiting the original place of the ritual “Dance of the Flyers” or the vanilla plantations.
We’re working hard so we can offer you a wonderful choice of group and private tours. We seek to let the world know what Mexico really is: with all its joy, culture, warmth and richness of colors.
Please SUSCRIBE & and come to Mexico City, and on foot – a pie – visit with us an open-air museum.
We are “México a pie”, and we will be waiting you.

⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Walking Mexico City CDMX : Polanco (Beverly Hills of Mexico City)
Google Maps Route:
Enjoy this walk in the Polanco area of Mexico City CDMX. I start from the Miyana Shopping Mall and travel on Av Moliere, Avenida Homero, Avenida Horacio, Av. Pdte. Masaryk, and end at Lincoln Park.
From Wikipedia:
Polanco is the main urban upscale district in Mexico City, part of the Miguel Hidalgo borough, located north of Chapultepec Park and consisting of five official neighborhoods (colonias).
Polanco is often called the Beverly Hills of Mexico City. Indeed it is home to the city's densest concentration of upscale shopping, hotels and restaurants, embassies, high-end car dealerships and home furnishings shops, many of the city's most important museums, and together with adjacent Nuevo Polanco, Mexican headquarters of many multinational companies. As a residential area, the neighborhood is culturally diverse, and many super-rich, politicians, celebrities, artists and businessmen call the area home.
The street names of Polanco incorporate an eclectic mix of the world's philosophers, writers, scientists and even a Czech president: Avenida Presidente Masaryk, a street with some of the highest rents and most upscale boutiques in Latin America. Latin America's largest department store is located in Polanco as well as six shopping malls.

Mexico City is the densely populated, high-altitude capital of Mexico. It's known for its Templo Mayor (a 13th-century Aztec temple), the baroque Catedral Metropolitana de México of the Spanish conquistadors and the Palacio Nacional, which houses historic murals by Diego Rivera. All of these are situated in and around the Plaza de la Constitución, the massive main square also known as the Zócalo.

⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ Walking Mexico City CDMX : Av Francisco Madero from Bellas Artes to Catedral Metropolitana
Google Maps Route:
In this video I walk in Mexico City CDMX on Av Francisco Madero from the Palacio de Bellas Artes to the Catedral Metropolitana.
From Wikipedia:
Francisco I. Madero Avenue, commonly known as simply Madero Street, is a geographically and historically significant pedestrian street of Mexico City and a major thoroughfare of the historic city center. It has an east–west orientation from Zócalo to the Eje Central. From that point the street is called Avenida Juárez and becomes accessible to one-way traffic from one of the city's main boulevards, the Paseo de la Reforma.
It was named in honour of one of the most important figures in the Mexican Revolution - Francisco I. Madero, a leader of the Anti-Re-election Movement and who was briefly President of Mexico before his assassination in 1913.

We're beyond happy we came to Mexico City - this place is amazing! In saying that, Mexico City is huge and this video and our experience so far is purely based in Roma Norte & La Condesa alone... but it makes sense now why so many people said not to miss this place while we travel in Mexico.
Mexico City has different reports online about the amount of people, but its in the 20 million range, so theres a ridiculous amount of neighbourhoods and less safe areas. We're staying in Roma Norte after doing a lot of research, La Condesa was the other potential option, but we knew we wanted to explore both.
Today we took a free walking tour that luckily explores both Roma Norte and Condesa — 2 incredibly cool and surprising neighbourhoods that feel very safe. We'll be sharing a video soon taking about safety in Mexico and how we felt, along with answering a bunch of other questions.
Here's the link to Skillshare to get 2 free months of Premium Membership:

WELCOME TO MEXICO CITY - TOUR AND VLOG
Mexico City is the cosmopolitan capital of Mexico that is home to 22 million people, a vibrant culinary scene, rich Aztec and colonial heritage, archaeological sights, and many surprises. It is the political, financial and cultural hub of the country.
This video will cover the top spots to photograph and sightsee in Mexico City including:
1:57 - 2:49

2. Chapultepec Castle
The only real castle that housed a reigning monarchy in North America.
2:54 - 4:00
3. Museo Nacional de Antropología
There is no wonder this museum got an average five star rating out of about 10K reviews on Trip Advisor- it is one of the finest anthropology museums in the world.
4:35 - 5:11

Built on top of an Aztec temple, this plaza is the second largest plaza in the world and epicenter of Mexico City's political seat.
5:30 - 6:30
5. Museo Soumaya
Museo Soumaya is in the Polanco district, commissioned by Carlos Slim (the richest person in the world) to house part of his art collection. The architecture is stunning. Best of all, the collection is free to view.
0:20 - 1:35
6. Xochimilco
This area has been preserved and is a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been described as the Venice of Mexico.
1:42

The museum is one of Mexico City's most vised museums, and rightfully so as she and her husband are arguably Mexico's most notable artists of the 20th Century.
6:55 - 7:10
8. Reforma Street - Paseo de la Reforma
Reforma Street is one of the most beautiful boulevards in Mexico City, modeled after European boulevards.

Built in the 18th century, this architectural gem is located a few blocks from the Zocalo and features white and blue tiles on the outsides, balconies and an indoor courtyard.

This building was built at the beginning of the 20th Century and features eclectic architecture, a unique staircase, dome, marble floors and elegant façade.
11. Biblioteca Vasconcelos - Library
This library has stunning modern architecture. View the design from the interior and go a few floors up to get a grand look at the stacks of books.
12. Observation Decks
The tallest observation deck is from Torre Latinamericano. However, some hotels and rooftop restaurants have excellent views of the city for the photos of the panoramic skyline, i.e the Hilton Reforma.
5:19
13. Palacio de Bellas Artes
This is one of the most prominent cultural centers in Mexico City, recognized by it's prominent yellow dome.
4:48
14. The Metropolitan Cathedral
This is the largest Cathedral in Latin America built on the site of the Templo Mayor of the Aztec city Tenochtitlan.
