Wallaby Woods Donadea opened to the public in 2013. It is a family run Open Farm set in 16 acres of woodland incorporating a number of water features.
With 35 species to see and lots of activities on offer, it is a wonderful experience for all ages.

What do you get if you cross an emu with an owl and a bearded dragon? Well they all combined to make up my day at Wallaby Woods, a animal adventure park in Donadea, County Kildare. Here's how my visit went.

Devastation as old castle walls bear the weight of ancient trees as they can not weather the forces of nature on the 12th of February 2014. Amazed the whole wall and turret did not come down. Obviously built on strong foundations.
