Wang Sam Sien (วัง สาม เซียน (三仙宮)) is a Taoist temple, which was established by the Maylim Foundation (มูลนิธิ มหกิจไพศาล (梅林基金會)) in 1978, located at 330/3, Moo 12, Banglamung, Pattaya, Chon Buri, Thailand 20150. Just beside the famous Buddist temple Wat Phra Yai (วัด พระใหญ่ (富貴佛寺)).
Wang Sam Sien (วัง สาม เซียน (三仙宮)) is a shrine of Kwan Yin Bodhisattava, which is much Taoist worshipped by the residents of the Chon Buri province.
A lot of statues are enshrined at Wang Sam Sien (วัง สาม เซียน (三仙宮)), such as ฮก (福), ลก (祿), ซิ่ว (壽), Avalokitesvara (觀音), กวนอู (關公), ไท่ส่องเหลากุ๊น (太上老君), and Phra Phrom (四面佛), it also has an openfield sculptured corridor with the story of the 24 gratitude (廿四孝歷史彩色璧雕), Confucius pavilion, Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden.

There is a huge image of Buddha at the top of the hill, so visitors can notice it from a distant location. The image of Buddha is even more incredible when look at it closely as it is absolutely huge. Each day a lot of visitors go to respect the image to have good things and good times in their lives, according the religion believed. There are also a pavilion hall and smaller different style images of Buddha on the top of the hill, around the huge image. The location of Wat Phra Yai is near Pattaya City, about 2.5 Kilometres from South Pattaya. Big Buddha Hill is the place that situates the biggest image of Buddha in Chonburi Province, where its height is about 300 foot. It was established in 1977. This Buddha image is called Luang Phor Yhai by Thai people.
At the entrance of Wat Phra Yai, there is a not too short and not too long stair to get to see the big Buddha image on the hilltop. There are also a pavement and several bells around the hill. Visitors can look around the city view either on this pavement or on the courtyard at the hilltop. Once visitors walk through the stair, they will see a very large gold-colour Buddha image in front of them. They will also able to see the smaller images of Buddha around the courtyard, and the pavilion hall on the right hand side. Visitors can use incense provided to respect the big Buddha image as well. The location of Big Buddha Hill is on the hilltop of Pattaya Hill (not the Phra Tamnak side). It is near Suan Chaloemphrakiat and Wang Sam Sien. Visitors can go there by a Songthaew or a motorcycle taxi, or even a walk if they like to do exercise though.
Originally the Buddha was white but later painted in gold and can be seen for many miles around. Surrounding the Big Buddha are some ten or so smaller Buddha's each with their own role in life and represent in seven cases, the days of the week.
Dependent on the day which you were born you have your own guardian Buddha which is named on the day of its birth.
Hence, saying a few words to the Buddha born on the same day as yourself will bring you good luck!
Mondays Buddha will bring you peace.
Tuesdays Buddha will give you peaceful sleep.
Wednesdays Buddha means you are a giving person.
Thursdays Buddha allows you peace of mind to meditate.
Fridays Buddha will give you happiness.
Saturdays Buddha will ensure your protection from the elements.
Sundays Buddha will search for the needy and care for them.
As you reach the top of the long straight stairs turn right and here you will find a small, quaint temple for praying, before entering make a contribution to the Monks in a collection box of your choice which pays for the upkeep, pick up some flowers and incense sticks, remove your shoes and enter. Place the flowers on the plate and your burning incense in the receptacle provided, have a few quiet words then continue to try the Semsee sticks. These are long flat strips of wood numbered 1 - 28 placed in a circular container, shake up and down until one jumps out. When you have the number read the charts on the wall behind you - this will be your destiny

The day i visited this attraction in Pattaya, i was not sure what to expect. I have seen model villages over the years. And i was perhaps thinking this was a compact version of a model minature world.
This was the wrong idea to hold onto to. This site was huge, containing models of buildings and towers and contructions from all over the world.
Yes some of them were a little tired, some of them did not look the part, but the vast majority of the exhibits here were fantastic. The sheer size of the models was astounding. The grounds were well laid out, with walkways round all the exhibits. It was easy to spend a whole day at this attraction in Pattaya. ( There is even a go-kart track outside the entrance ).
A four acre, pleasantly landscaped theme park on Sukhumvit Highway near Pattaya, Mini Siam has scale models of scores of important historical sites and temples in Thailand. Tourists who have seen the real places will instantly recognize the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the Bridge over the River Kwai, Wat Arun, Wat Sisanphet, the Golden Stupa and more than 80 other miniatures relating to Thai history. The models are built on a scale of 1 to 25, and there are also a number of replications of landmarks from other countries, including the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and the Statue of Liberty.
Pattaya is well worth a visit for the holiday maker in Thailand. But be sure to add this attraction to your must see list.
