Wangjianglou Park is located on the Jinjiang River downtown Chengdu near Anshun Bridge and Sichuan University. It is home to the Bamboo Museum a large variety of rare bamboo species, the grave of Xue Tao, a famous female Chinese poet, and Chongli Pavilion, a large 28 meter tall pagoda. There is a small admission fee to the park. I believe it was 20RMB. Enjoy!

It's amazing! It's one of the top places locals AND tourists go, Chinese and foreigners / expats alike!

Wie man dorthin kommt:
Mit dem Bus: Nehmen Sie die Buslinien 35, 19, 3 oder 335. Die Haltestelle ist mit dem Wangjiang Lou Park identisch, Sie können dort aussteigen.

FORTUNE FLAVOURS visits the Wangjiang Pavilion Park in Chengdu. This park has a 4-story pavilion dedicated to Xue Tao, lots of tea houses, and mysterious Techno Diablo masters. I cycled the city of Chengdu as a solo traveller on a Vanmoof fixie and it was an incredible experience, I was greeted everywhere I went with warm and friendly people. A truly wonderful city.

FORTUNE FLAVOURS visits the Wangjiang Pavilion Park in Chengdu. This park has an open space that the Dama (dancing group) use to practise their dances, these ladies were kind enough to allow me to film their run through of their square dance, I didn't use any music on this video because I loved the song they were dancing to so much, it became the mental soundtrack of my experience in China. Wangjianglou Park
Situated in an agreeable environment made by flourishing woods and luxuriant bamboo bushes, Wangjianglou Park covers an area of 118 mu. Built in Ming and Qing Dynasties and turning to a whole park in the Republic of China, Wangjianglou and Xue Tao Memorial became famed in Chengdu long years ago. Nowadays, Wangjianglou Park is listed in National Key Cultural Sites.
