EXPLORING KUTA BALI PART 2 : THE BEST OF KUTA BALI #BaliGoLiveAdventure #BaliGoLiveDestination
In this video, we bring you the top things to do and see in Bali’s tourism hub, Kuta. The first is Kuta Beach, a beautiful long stretch of white sand beach. Surfing is quite popular here, especially for beginners. Surfboards can always be rented off of the beach, but you should arrange in advanced if you want lessons. More experienced surfers can take a boat out to Kuta Reef, which deals one perfect wave after another. Boat trips cost around $20 round trip.
The Beachwalk Mall offers the best shopping in the area. Whether you’re looking for a new outfit, to exchange some money, or a delicious meal, the Beachwalk Mall will have what you need.
The Ground Zero Monument was built to remember those who were tragically lost in the heartless bombings. The bombings had a deep impact on the community, and it is an event that must not be forgotten.
If you didn’t find what you were looking for at the mall or just want to test out your bargaining skills, head over to the Kuta Street Market. The market is a long stretch of small shops that sell all sorts of items. The most common items are t-shirts, souvenirs, and watches, but there are many more options.
Waterbom Waterpark is one of the most fun attractions in Kuta. It has been rated the best waterpark in Asia. With amazing waterslides and even a Flowrider, we don’t doubt it. Head over to the water park for a fun afternoon with the family.
Kuta is also famous for its vibrant nightlife. Some of the best clubs and bars in the whole island are in Kuta. Skygarden is a nightclub with many different floors that all play different genres of music. All you need to do is head upstairs for a completely different atmosphere. Skygarden is definitely the place to be on Saturday nights.
Here are some good resources for information on Kuta:

Road Trip to Kuta Beachwalk - A Luxury Shopping Mall in Bali
#kutabeachwalk#roadtriptokutabeachwalk#kutabeachwalkmall#
BEACHWALK BALI, THE LARGEST SHOPPING CENTER & NEARBY KUTA BEACH
You are fond of shopping activities or just hanging out in Kuta Bali; therefore, you should visit Beachwalk Bali, the largest shopping center in Kuta Bali. Furthermore, Beachwalk shopping mall Bali, one of Bali’s international standard Mall. Offer a unique design and offer a .different experience, which is very interesting to see.
Bali Beachwalk Shopping Center has an exceptional design with an open space concept. A perfect combination of water and lush garden green environment and the sea breeze. Therefore, forming a relaxing and free atmosphere which is different from other shopping malls that you find in other places.
Beachwalk Kuta Shopping Mall offers plenty of things for traveler would love to shop. Also, located in the ideal location which is nearby to Kuta beach. Kuta Beachwalk occupies an area of approximately 3.7 hectares. Most people say it is the most extensive shopping mall in Bali. If this is true or not, I am not entirely sure.
Beachwalk shopping center located just behind the shoreline of Kuta beach Bali. You only have to walk about 5 minutes then cross the road to get to the Kuta beach location from Beachwalk Kuta shopping mall, for a first-timer will find the shopping mall layout quite confusing.
Beachwalk Mall Kuta the address at Jalan Pantai Kuta Bali. The location of Kuta Beachwalk is very strategic, on the west side of the mall is the location of Grand Istana Rama hotel and on the east side of Beachwalk Kuta shopping mall is Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort.
Beachwalk shopping mall opening hours from 10:30 – 22:30 and for the most crowded time of visitors from 19:00 to 21:00.
Everyday beach walk shopping mall Kuta crowded with visitors. Therefore, road congestion happens every day, especially on holiday and weekend. Finding parking space is difficult during peak season in Bali, even though Kuta Beachwalk mall has a vast underground car park. The underground car park can accommodate up to 1,000 vehicles.
The moment you enter the Kuta Beachwalk mall, you will see a significant pond with lots of water-filled grooves. The mall design very neat, combining modern elements with a traditional green park. Beachwalk Mall Kuta Bali, very suitable for family and children. I am sure your kids would enjoy having a visit to Kuta Beachwalk Mall because there is a beautiful fountain at the front of the Mall. Also, on the 3rd floor of Kuta beach Beachwalk Bali, there is a playground for children, called Miniapolis Bali.
Store, restaurants, Foodmart Gourmet Bali, a drug store, and other visitor facilities will be visible when you enter the Kuta Beachwalk Mall. Also, Most stores have large quantities of product. Most of the products at Beachwalk Bali, are branded goods and quite expensive.
Famous brand products you can find in Kuta Beachwalk such as H & M, Armani Jeans, Mango, Tommy Hilfiger, Oakley, Lacoste, and Zara. There are many other products with famous brands also available at Kuta Beachwalk Mall. Also, some of the product names are not quite familiar to me as a local Balinese. Besides international products, you too can find a domestic brand product, so all budgets are catered.
Besides store at Bali Beachwalk mall, there are many restaurants such as Eat & Eat restaurant which located on the 3rd floor. Eat & Eat restaurant offer plenty of choices of meals, ranging from Indonesian, Chinese food, and some Japanese cuisine. The food price range from IDR 50 K to IDR 100 K. To make payment for the meal, you need to get a card from the cashier and fill it with balanced. You will use the card to make a payment for a drink and food. Let say there is some balance left you can get the balance in cash at the cashier.
Also, several restaurants provide a lounge with Kuta beach views on the first floor, such as Cafe Sardinia. If you want to buy drinks such as tea or coffee, you can find Chatime or Starbucks coffee shop.
Choice of Transportation
Best way to visit Kuta Beachwalk Mall is by a meter taxi or use a car rental with a driver in Bali. This way, you will not think about finding a parking space. Beachwalk Kuta Mall is one of the most popular hangout places in Bali, especially for Indonesian from Jakarta. Therefore do not be surprised if most of the visitors are from Jakarta.

Bali Kuta Info:
Kuta (formally Kuta Village or Kuta Town, Indonesian: Kelurahan/Desa Kuta) is a tourist area, administratively a village (kelurahan or desa), and at the same time is the Capital of Kuta District, Badung Regency, southern Bali, Indonesia. A former fishing village, it was one of the first towns on Bali to see substantial tourist development, and as a beach resort remains one of Indonesia's major tourist destinations. It is known internationally for its long sandy beach, varied accommodation, many restaurants and bars, and many renowned surfers who visit from Australia. It is located near Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport.
The Balinese Provincial Government have taken the view that the preservation of the Balinese culture, natural resources and wildlife are of primary importance in the development of the island. To this end they have limited tourist development to the peninsula on the extreme southern aspect of the island; Kuta beach is on the western side of this peninsula and Sanur is on the east. To the north of the peninsula no new tourist development is supposedly permitted.

- Mostly near around 30 thousand per head for return air. Some time discount happens (we got discount from Malindo Air & return cost was only 22k that time).
How much travel may cost in Bali per day?
- Per Day Hotels you will get within BDT 1500 to 2000 (20 USD) for 2 person 1 room. Food per day per head may cost 1000 BDT (10 USD). Other per day per head may cost 1000 BDT too (local trip transport, entrance or other ticket etc.). So, in average, better you keep per day expense 4000 BDT (around 50 USD). It will be enough. Now you plan, how many days you want to stay in Bali/Gili.
AIR
We visited Bali by getting a discount in Malindo Air @ 22k BDT per head return air. Offer not valid now. A transit was there in Kuala Lumpur.
HOTEL
You must choose a hotel in Kuta Square @ Bali. We always prefer Agoda for Hotel Booking:
I was there for 10 days and I tried different hotels. All booked by Agoda using credit card from BD. Take one room for 2 person only. Here is my ranking for my hotels:
1. Suris Boutique Hotel (Nice Pool View Room, Free Buffet Breakfast, Nice Swimming Pool, But 5min Walking Distance from Kuta Sea Beach) @ 2000+ BDT Per Day:
Suris Hotel, Kuta Square, Bali @ Agoda:
2. Hotel Karthi (Big Pool, 2min Walk to Kuta Sea Beach, Free Buffet Breakfast, General Room) @ 2000 BDT
Book Hotel Karthi, Kuta Square, Bali @ Agoda:
3. The Oasis Kuta Hotel (Big Pool, Nice Room, 2min Walk to Kuta Sea Beach, Narrow Entrance) @ 2000 BDT
The Oasis Kuta Hotel, Kuta Square, Bali @ Agoda:
SIGHT SEEING
Book a car from your hotel (more safe) or from a car service provider. Maximum 2 half days (9am to 4pm) car trip is enough to cover all. must visit:
Tegenungan Water Fall (Keep Swimming Dresses with you, nice place to enjoy water fall)
Mount Batur Volcano (Have a Mango Drink There @ 200 BDT Only, Buffet Lunch is expensive there)
Ubud Rice Field (Do Lunch Here, It's Cheap & Great View too)
Uluwatu Temple (Amazing Sea & Hill View) & Must Try Nearest
Padang Padang Hidden Sea Beach too. You may swimm there in clear water.
FOODS
Try international chain foods like KFC/McD/Burger King/A&W etc. Cheap enough. Per Head may cost 300 BDT per meal. Mostly halal.
Very expensive, if you are planning Indian Foods (available near Kuta Square). Per Head may cost 500 to 800 BDT per meal.
GILI ISLAND
Our BTF team was in Bali for only 5 days. Within this time, stay Gili for one day only (go today morning, come back tomm morning). That will be fine. Book fast boat including up down transport from hotel to port (it is in far). Must book return fast boat ticket all together. Talk to your hotel (more safe) or try outside to book. Foods are cheap in Gili. Must try night market & sea food. It is a small island, no cars, only horse ride and by-cycles. Try it. Do not miss to hire a group boat ride to enjoy under water activities (make sure life jacket and safety). You may live in any part of the island as it is small. Hotel prices are same like Bali. I was in a nice banglow Bale Sasak with a swimming pool & free breakfast, all only @ 1500 BDT.

You Need to Visit Canggu. Best Town in Bali. Street Art Tour (Where to stay in Bali)
We’ve found one of our favourite places on the planet (to date)! Canggu is on the Southwest coast of Bali, and is known as a digital nomad haven full of coffee shops and bars.
We spent the day exploring Canggu trying to find the best things to do in the town.
We started off at our fabulous Airbnb to show you what you can get for your money in that area! Looking for $40 off you first AirBNB booking? click here:
After showing off the rental we made our way into town passing by some beautiful homes on the way.
First we head to one of the more famous coffee shops in the area called Crate Cafe. Here you’ll find healthy food, and lots of coffee at a really affordable price, they also have a fair bit of artwork around.
We’d worked up an appetite at this point so we headed to a Vietnamese restaurant called Leroy’s to get some Banh Mi sandwiches.
After this we made our way through town trying to find street art. Canggu as well known for having lots of graffiti and street art around and we found an abundance.
Lastly we headed down to the beach (Batu Bolong Beach) to check it out for the first time. There are lots of beach clubs around but we just walked along the beach area to check out the surfers.

CRATE CAFE
A space where good music, good food, good coffee and good people meet, and create good vibes. Our ethos is to Create a Community. Keep it simple and keep it consistent is our motto. These days people want to buy into an experience and a lifestyle more than just a product or service. Our place is so much more than a Cafe, its a family. The Cafe was opened in April 2014, by us ( Nyoman and Maree ) to service the hungry needs of the Canggu community. We both have a love for coffee and getting it right was our aim. We outsourced local suppliers to ensure produce was delivered fresh daily. As the community grew, so did we. And in November 2017, we moved to our new premises to continue doing what we love.
ABOUT CANGGU
Canggu is a coastal village and 10 km beach on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia. It lies approximately 10 kilometers north of Kuta, and presents a much more relaxing atmosphere of dining, cultural and beach activities. The main Canggu streets are Jalan Batu Bolong, Jalan Padang Linjong, Jalan Batu Mejan and Jalan Tanah Barak. Along Jalan Batu Bolong you find the temple of the dead, Pura Merajapati, and the Pipitan Cemetery. Along the beach there are two main temples, Pura Batu Bolong and Pura Batu Mejan, which are both hundreds of years old and were initiated for building by Dang Hyang Nirartha. The Canggu area used to have scenic views of paddy fields and coconut groves but current rapid developments are quickly replacing these traditional views with private villas.
ABOUT BALI
Bali is a province of Indonesia and an island on the westernmost of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Located on the east of Java and west of Lombok, the province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller neighbouring islands, notably Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. The provincial capital, Denpasar, is the most populous city in the Lesser Sunda Islands and the second largest in Eastern Indonesia after Makassar.
Bali is Indonesia's main tourist destination, which has seen a significant rise in tourists since the 1980s. Tourism-related business makes up 80% of its economy. It is renowned for its highly developed arts, including traditional and modern dance, sculpture, painting, leather, metalworking and music.

????We stayed at this hotel In Kuta:
????We stayed at this hotel in Gili Air:
????We stayed at this hotel in Nusa Penida:
????We stayed at this hotel In Ubud:
We've rented a car with 950k that's approx 5700 BDT or $67 for two days in Ubud. The capacity was seven-person. We asked the driver to show us some must-visit places in Ubud, and he roamed us around.
Here's the WhatsApp number of the driver in case you need: +62 812 38485213. His name is Agung Sudarsana, and he's a nice guy. If you book him for a day tour, let him know about us, and he will know.
On this day, we roamed around North Bali/Ubud. The beauty was magnificent. It was high above the hills, and the weather was cloudy that day (which we enjoyed).
Our first stoppage was Wanagiri (Menara Bambu Hitam). There was a lake named Lake Buyan (Danau Buyan). The lake was 1300m above from the sea level (according to our tour guide) where we felt the clouds. We stopped in a place where we had to pay 40k rupiah (Approx 240 BDT or $2.85) per person to take pictures and enjoy the view. But if you want, you can stop by the roadside and enjoy the view itself (Most Probably). But it was worth it. After all, who cares about spending a few dollars here and there while on tour, right?
Google Maps:
Our second stoppage was Handara Golf & Resort Gate. To be honest, if you don't want to take a picture, you don't need to stop there. But if you really want, then it will cost you 30k rupiah (Approx 180 BDT or $2.14) per person. I didn't like the fact that we had to wait in a serial to take just a few pictures.
Google Maps:
Our final stoppage was Ulun Danu Beratan Temple. It's mainly a water temple which is located on the shores of Lake Bratan. It was cloudy weather, and the clouds were right above the lake, composing the overall scene outstanding. Although we couldn't roam much on that place due to the rainfall, certainly we enjoyed the view while we were having our lunch.
Google Maps:
I think these are the must place to visit if you're coming to Bali. We enjoyed every single second on this day tour.
After exploring north Bali, we went to the south to visit Tanah Lot, which we will cover on our upcoming video. Till then subscribe and hit the like button if you enjoyed our videos.

Bale Sasak, Lombok, Gili Indonesia @ Agoda:
SHOPPING
Buy from local shops. Cheap. Other shopping malls are expensive. Must visit 3 shopping malls near Kuta Square:
- Discovery Mall (Visit Both Side, Road Side & Sea Beach Side, In & Out. 5min Walk from Kuta Square)
- BeachWalk Shopping Mall (Excellent Market to Visit & To Watch Cinema)
- Lippo Mall (Cheap Foods at underground, Enjoy Cinema)
@ Afternoon, there are some nice beach side cafe with pool in Kuta Sea Beach, enjoy fresh juice there (@About 200 BDT) with your family. For any more query, feel free to ask. Check our all Bali videos for more detail.

Epic Bali Holiday: Uluwatu, Ubud, Tagallalang, Lovina, Menjangan, Kuta
Days 1-2: We stayed in Kuta for the first two nights. Kuta is just a 15 minute drive from the airport in Denpasar, which is the capital of Bali. From Kuta, we visited Tanah Lot Temple (40-60 minutes west of Kuta) as well as Uluwatu and Padang Padang (which are south of Kuta).
Days 2-4: We traveled about one hour north by bus to Ubud, which is known as Bali's cultural and artistic heartland. The bus cost just 70,000 Rupiah per person. There we visited the Ubud Palace, spent a morning in the Tagallalang terraced rice fields, and went on a bicycle tour through the countryside, which was filled with more beautiful rice fields.
Days 4-6: We traveled even further north (about three hours) to Lovina, which is famous for morning dolphin watching. The bus from Ubud costs approximately 90,000 Rupiah per person. We, of course, saw dolphins; you have to be out on the water by 6:15 am-ish in order to do this. We also took a day trip to Menjangan Island (1.5 hours by bus + 30 minute boat ride) for snorkeling.
Days 7-8: We returned to Kuta Beach for surfing and relaxation. In addition to hanging out on the beach, we explored the boutiques of Seminyak, shopped at the surf outlets, and rented a scooter and drove out to Nusa Dua.
Bali is incredible!! Can't wait to go back!

HOW TO SHOP IN BALI - [VLOG #6]
Hello Happiness crossing Family! :)
Today we spent our day in Ubud at the Art Market and wanna show you HOW TO BARGAIN and SHOP in Bali!
If you're not familiar, this is a market with dozens of sellers bargaining and bartering merchandise.
Be prepared because shopping in Bali is pretty rough especially if you go to local Markets!
You will HAVE to bargain otherwise you will get ripped off which isn't convenient for you especially when you travel on a budget like us.
Other small tips for you to experience happy shopping in Bali:
- Never be rude, even if you feel like people are pushing you to buy something you don't want to buy, just walk away.
- After a while you will know how much you SHOULD pay for certain things and how much you SHOULDN'T. Take your time.
- If you don't get the price you wished for, take your time to walk around other similar shops (they all sell similar clothes)
- Sometimes it's clever to just walk away to get your fair price :-)
- Take a break in between shopping because it DOES get pretty exhausting and stressing
- ENJOY YOUR TIME. :)
