UK: Nationalists lay wreaths at Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday
Some 50 members of the right-wing nationalist group 'National Front' laid wreaths at the Cenotaph in Westminster, on Sunday in honour of war veterans as a part of Remembrance Day service.
Participants handed over poppy wreaths to a policeman who was guarding the war memorial as they paid tribute to fallen soldiers.

Places to see in ( Retford - UK )
Places to see in ( Retford - UK )
Retford is a market town in Nottinghamshire in the East Midlands of England, 31 miles from Nottingham, and 23 miles west of Lincoln. Retford is in the valley of the River Idle and the Chesterfield Canal passes through the centre. The village of Ordsall, west of the River Idle and the East Coast Main Line railway, and the former hamlet of Thrumpton are suburbs. Retford is administered by Bassetlaw District Council in neighbouring Worksop and twinned with Pfungstadt, Germany.
In the Retford Market Square there is an ornate French-inspired Victorian Town Hall, in front of which is The Broad Stone. Legend says that this stone had a hollow in it that used to be filled with vinegar during plague times to disinfect coins. Also in Retford Market Square is the war memorial unveiled by Sir Frederick Milner in 1921.
Just across from the Market Square is Cannon Square which has St Swithun's Church and a cannon captured from the Russians during the Siege of Sevastopol at the end of the Crimean War in 1856.
Retford's Kings Park received national recognition in 2007 when it won the prestigious Britain's Best Park competition in the Midlands region. It also received the Green Flag Award in both 2008 and 2009. It is described as a 'jewel in the crown' by Bassetlaw council. St Michael the Archangel church, West Retford is on Rectory Road.
Retford is bypassed by the A1 trunk road and the A57 which links Retford to a number of major towns and cities, with London just over two hours away. The East Retford bypass was built in three stages mostly along what was previously the A57.
Retford is served by two railway lines, the East Coast Main Line which runs between London and Scotland, with trains taking from 1hr 20 minutes to London Kings Cross, and the Sheffield to Lincoln Line which has links to Sheffield, Lincoln, Gainsborough, Worksop, Grimsby and Cleethorpes. These two lines meet at Retford railway station which acts as an important interchange in the British rail network.
Retford is connected to the UK Inland Waterways network by the Chesterfield Canal. Indeed, up to Retford the canal was built to be accessible by broad-beam boats rather than the more usual narrowboats, Retford Town Lock being the first narrow lock on the canal from its junction with the River Trent at West Stockwith.
( Retford - UK ) is well know as a tourist destination because of the variety of places you can enjoy while you are visiting the city of Retford . Through a series of videos we will try to show you recommended places to visit in Retford - UK

DVD quality of Will Hay's Films - comparison of UK & US releases
In 2017 The goose steps out was the first of Will Hay's films on Blu-ray. All of Will's other films except Where's that fire? are available on dvd, but the transfers, especially of the Gainsborough films are of fairly poor quality, dating back to their early release on dvd in 2001. In 2013 however the films were licensed to VCI in the US who issued the 9 films on 4 dvd's, either as double or triple bills. The quality of these releases is far superior to those released in the UK, as these comparison clips from Ask a policeman will show. For British fans who maybe didn't bother to buy the VCI releases I would thoroughly recommend them, all the films have been remastered to a very pleasing standard and the quality on all titles is far superior to those officially released by ITV studios in the UK
Lancaster Flypast - 70th anniversary of the Dambuster raids over Germany
Sunday 12th May 2013 at Brooklands Museum, Surrey, U.K.
Avro Lancaster from the R.A.F. Battle of Britain Flight making a double fly-past to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Dambuster raids on German dams supplying power to their armament factories during WWII.
The Lancaster bomber PA474, acquired by the BBMF in 1973, is one of only two surviving airworthy Lancasters; the other is in Canada. She was built in mid-1945 and assigned to reconnaissance duties after appearing too late to take part in the bombing of Japan. After various duties, she was adopted by the Air Historical Branch for display work. She appeared in two films: Operation Crossbow and The Guns of Navarone. Having been flown for much of her service with the BBMF as the City of Lincoln, PA474 presently wears the markings of the Phantom of the Ruhr, a Lancaster that flew 121 sorties (a so-called ton-up Lancaster). Originally assigned to 100 Squadron in June 1943, the original Phantom was transferred to 101 Squadron in November that year and finished the war as part of 550 Squadron at Ludford Magna. PA474 displays the markings of bombs for operations over Germany, ice-cream cones for operations over Italy and poppies when she releases poppies during exhibition flights. During the 2008 RAF Waddington Air Day, PA474 was flown in formation with the recently restored Avro Vulcan XH558 in a historic display of two Avro heavy metal classics.
