A bad day's fishing? A trip to Waranga Basin
What started out looking like a great day for fishing quickly turned into a pretty bad one! Any day out on the water is better than a day on the couch though! And I did finally manage to catch 1 fish (albeit quite a small fish LOL) Hopefully the weather improves soon so I can get out and make some more videos!

The Waranga Dam is a major earthfill embankment dam with an uncontrolled spillway located approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) north of Melbourne in the North Central region of the Australian state of Victoria. The impounded off-stream reservoir is Waranga Basin and forms part of the Goulburn River irrigation system, irrigating an area of 626 square kilometres (242 sq mi).The dam and reservoir are located in Shire of Campaspe near the City of Greater Shepparton and is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) northeast of Rushworth, 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) southwest of Tatura, and near Murchison. When full, the reservoir covers an area of 58.5 square kilometres (22.6 sq mi).
Đập Waranga là một con đập đắp đất lớn với một đập tràn không được kiểm soát nằm cách Melbourne khoảng 150 km (93 dặm) về phía bắc của khu vực Bắc Trung Bộ của bang Victoria của Úc. I decided to head back to the new spot I found on the Waranga western channel, once again chasing redfin - my favorite fish to catch! (and occasionally eat!!!!)
It turns out it's quite the little honey hole! With a bit of luck it only improves in the coming couple of months as summer approaches.
