On our second day on the Gold Coast in Queensland we visited Warner Brothers Movie World, we had a really great day packed with roller coasters and fun. I was unable to take my camera on any of the rides (I got told off for using my GoPro) but I captured what I could of the day with my iPhone. After Movie World we headed for the beach just in time to catch the fading light and the Gold Coast's buildings switching on their illuminations.

Warner Bros. Movie World (more commonly referred to as Movie World) is a popular movie related theme park on the Gold Coast in Australia. It is owned and operated by Village Roadshow since the take over from Time Warner and is the only movie related park in Australia. It opened on 3 June 1991.[1]
The park contains various movie-themed rides and attractions ranging from motion simulators to roller coasters and slow river rides. In addition, costumed character performers also patrol the park, allowing visitors the chance to take photos with them. These include Batman, Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe, Scooby Doo, The Mystery Inc. Gang and various Looney Tunes characters. Minor street shows including skits and singing performances are also present. The All-Star Parade showcases costumed characters alongside vehicles and movie-themed floats.[2]
There are a number of active film studios within the Movie World complex. House of Wax, the first Scooby Doo film, the 2003 Peter Pan film, Ghost Ship, The Condemned and Fortress are amongst the many films and television series produced at Warner Roadshow Studios, adjoining Warner Bros. Movie World.[citation needed]
On 3 June 2011, Warner Bros. Movie World celebrated 20 years of being a theme park.

In this video, we show you the slides at Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast in Australia! The water park was opened 1984 and boasts a various selection of water slides. Signature attractions include the iconic quadruple AquaLoop slides as well as the huge ProSlide Tornado.
Wet 'n' Wild Gold Coast is located in Oxenford QLD, right next to the Warner Bros. Movie World theme park and about 60 km south of Brisbane. The park is open year-round.

Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast opened on 30 September 1984 as Cade's County Waterpark. The Herringe group of companies developed the park at a cost of A$18 million. The name was later changed to Cade's County Wet'n'Wild, then simply Wet'n'Wild in 1987 after a licensing agreement was reached with chain of Wet 'n Wild water parks overseas. Under ownership of Village Roadshow Theme Parks, the park changed its name to Wet'n'Wild Water World to match the related Sea World and Warner Bros. Movie World theme parks. In 2013, to distinguish the park from Wet'n'Wild Sydney, the park's name was changed to Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast.
Scenes set at a water park (fictionally called Splash Planet) in The Inbetweeners 2, a 2014 British comedy film, were filmed at the park.

Dozens Trapped Arkham Asylum Ride at Movie World Brisbane, Australia 11/01/2017.
Dozens of patrons are trapped on a ride at Gold Coast theme park Movie World.
Emergency services including paramedics and fire rescue crews have been sent to the Oxenford fun park after the Arkham Asylum ride malfunctioned.
Movie World rides were cleared after an official Worksafe Queensland safety audit last month following the Dreamworld Thunder River Rapids Ride disaster at Dreamworld where four tourists died.
The ambulance service is on standby but says so far there are no reports of injuries.
Firefighters were called to the Oxenford theme park just before midday, after being told they may have to stage a vertical rescue.
