25 Things to do in Warsaw, Poland | Top Attractions Travel Guide
This was our first trip to Poland and we dove into the capital headfirst. While our travels may have started in the charming Old Town, it wasn't long before we discovered that Warsaw has a cool artsy side. We visited bright neon museums in the art district, shopped in boutiques selling soviet-chic apparel, and got to experience the capital's legendary nightlife. It many ways it was a whirlwind visit, but it was also a fun introduction that made us curious to discover more of Poland in our future travels. The following video will highlight 25 things to do in Warsaw and give you a glimpse into this up and coming capital.

25 Things to do in Warsaw, Poland | Top Attractions Tourism Guide Video Transcript:
Well hello and welcome to Warszawa. This week we are exploring the Polish capital. We've already been here a few days and it has been amazing. It has been such a pleasant surprise and unlike any part of Europe we've traveled in so far. So yeah, this week we're going to be highlighting 25 things to do around the city and we're excited to show you what it is all about.
We came to Warsaw with little to no expectations and the city completely surprised us. Our week in the capital was spent sampling Polish cuisine, learning about the city's past through museums and historical tours, and also dabbling in a bit of the nightlife. Warsaw is quickly rising through the ranks and we think it won't be long before travellers are flocking en masse. So if you're planning a trip to Poland, don't skip over the capital because there is more to Warsaw than meets the eye.
This is part of our Travel in Poland series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Polish culture, Polish arts, Polish foods, Polish religion, Polish cuisine and Polish people.

2019-5-16 to 17 Warsaw, Poland
In 1915 during the First World War, the Germans captured Warsaw. However, in 1918 Poland became an independent nation again and Warsaw was made it's capital.
In 1920 the Battle of Warsaw was fought between the Poles and the Communist Russians east of the city. Also in 1920, the Polish Army Museum was founded. Afterward, Warsaw continued to flourish.
However, in September 1939 the Germans invaded Poland. They captured it on 27 September. At that time about 1/3 of the population of Warsaw were Jews (about 380,000 people). From October 1940 the Germans herded Jews from Warsaw and the surrounding area into a ghetto. In 1942 the Germans began deporting Jews from the ghetto to concentration camps.
Later, on 1 August 1944, the people of Warsaw rose in rebellion unsuccessfully. However, on 17 September 1945, the Russians captured Warsaw.
At the end of the Second World War Warsaw was left devastated. Most of its buildings were destroyed. However, it was slowly rebuilt.
Warsaw is a very beautiful city full of history and beautiful buildings.

Royal Castle
Built in the 14th century in Gothic style by the Mazovian princes, the castle was converted many times during the Renaissance and Baroque
periods. In the 18th century, it acquired its final Baroque-Classicist style, in which it was rebuilt from World War II destruction. The castle was the seat of the authorities of the First Republic of Poland from 1596 to 1795. It was the royal residence and also the seat of the lower and upper houses of parliament-Sejm and Senate. It was here that the Four-Year Sejm passed the Constiturion of May 3rd, 1791, and on Jan. 25, 1831 dethroned Russian Czar Nidlolas I as king of Poland. In 1926-1939 the castle was the headquarters of the president of the Second Republic of Poland, Ignacy Moscicki. Burned down during World War II, it was rebuilt in 1974.
Warsaw's Old Town
The Old Town, along with the adjacent New Town, is one of the most beautiful and most often visited sites in Warsaw. The buildings were originally buift in the 17th and 18th centuries. Burned down during World War II, the Old Town was meticulously reconstructed after the war. Its numerous colorful tenements with red sloping roofs and cha¬racteristic street lamps combine to create a picturesque panorama, with strong accents provided by the huge roof of the local cathedral and the Jesuit church tower.

I have always been fascinated by Poland's resilience. A far too unkind 20th century of invasion, control, destruction and genocide, seemingly did little to bend their unbreakable spirit. I dive into the nation's capital, Warsaw, to find out what defines their identity and see what makes this new old city tick.

A Tourist's Guide to Warsaw, Poland
With a couple of my pals, we set out to explore the delights of Poland's capital city.
WARSAW beautiful capital of Poland- November- 2018
Warsaw (Polish: Warszawa) is the capital and largest city of Poland. The metropolis stands on the Vistula River in east-central Poland and its population is officially estimated at 1.765 million residents within a greater metropolitan area of 3.1 million residents,[3] which makes Warsaw the 8th most-populous capital city in the European Union.
Things to do in Warsaw, Poland ???????? Travel Guide
The Polish capital, Warsaw, has a lot to offer potential tourists. In this travel guide, I'll talk about where to go and what to do.
My wife and I recently had the opportunity to spend a month in Warsaw. It gave us a chance to get to know the city better and find out what it has to offer as a tourist destination.
When people think of visiting Poland, they usually know that they want to go to Krakow and admire it's beauty but Warsaw isn't usually at the top of their list. The city is a mixture of modern skyscrapers, soviet buildings and at the centre is a splendid old town (rebuilt after WW2).
It has a modern metro system, which makes it an easy city to navigate. It's also affordable, safe and developing rapidly. In this travel guide, I talk about a few of our favourite places to go in Warsaw.
