May 24, 2015: Today, my father and I went to the Ohio Railway Museum to sample a ride on their Ohio Public Service streetcar #64 (built in 1925 90 years old!!) during Memorial Day weekend. Our streetcar is departing Worthington for Colonial Hills, a distance of about 1.5 miles adjacent to NS and CSX trackage.

This video is the very definition of what I'm calling, Accidental Beauty. I went to my grandma's house this day just to show her a DVD I made, and I took my camera with me and I wound up going to the Fall Festival of Leaves with them. This is actually the short version of it...the actual video is about 15 minutes long. But what I mean by accidental beauty is that I almost didn't even go to this event, and when I did go, I got some amazing shots, all on a whim. I like to think I managed to capture the very beauty of life in this video, like at the very end when the family all gets back together, talking about what to do next, but little Jessie is still so young and fascinated, she can't help but wonder about everything else going on around her. Or the shot where Taylor crouches down to talk to Jessie and they but heads...I love that shot so much....and to think...i almost didn't even go...
