Peregrine Falcons at Warton Crag, Lancashire, UK
I filmed this pair of Peregrine Falcons over the period of the chicks hatching to fledging. I used a Canon semi-pro camera attached to a 35mm Sigma 300-800mm lens via a 7x converter. Although I was 150 yards from the nest you can see, at times, flies on the ledge face. I filmed at times over the early May to late June period plus a later bit after fledging.

Warton Crag is a limestone hill in north west Lancashire, England. It lies to the north west of Warton village, in City of Lancaster district. At 163 metres (535 ft) it is the highest point in the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is listed as a HuMP or Hundred Metre Prominence, its parent being Hutton Roof Crags. Two areas are Local Nature Reserves, called Warton Crag and Warton Crag Quarry. Different sections are owned by Lancashire County Council, the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, Lancaster City Council and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.

Fly-over Cabus to Lancaster Roman Road
3D Lidar fly-over along the line of the newly discovered Roman Road from Cabus, Nr Garstang, to Lancaster . The route was a total surprise going via Cockerham, which was probably very close to the sea in Roman times.
This is the third part of the route from Walton-le-Dale (Preston) to Lancaster.
Carnival Trip through Warton Village for Warton Sports Day
I stuck a GoPro camera to the windscreen of a tractor pulling a lego theme float at our village carnival last weekend to record a timelapse of the route, this is the result. If you were there, you'll probably be in the video somewhere! A great day in the sunshine!

Warton Village, Washington Family & the original Stars & Stripes, its Crag and Iron Age hill fort
The village of Warton overlooking Morecambe Bay is where the origins of the Stars & Stripes can be found. This was the home of one branch of the Washington family, directly traceable to George Washington, and the original Sars & Stripes are now preserved in the village church. It is a very historical village and this clip, using scenes from a reconstructed Iron Age village, tells of the Iron Hill Fort once situated on the crag above the village.

2hr 45min double dvd Bittern Country Our Heritage. It tells of the beauty, heritage and culture of a largely unknown area of England, which includes the Arnside/Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the coast of Morecambe Bay and the edge of the Lake District in the North West of England.
The video took two years to make by award winning amateur heritage videographer Chris Abram. He researched, scripted, filmed, edited and produced it as part of his value for money Our Heritage series of dvd's.
It is Chris's aim to try and capture as much of our proud, rich heritage before it all disappears under external influences and beaurocracy, and which are both threatening to do away with our christianity based culture, morals and laws forever. We must never let that happen.
