Chillin on Narragansett Bay
Launched the boat from Haines Memorial State Park boat ramp in Bullocks Cove. Drove out to Conimicut Light which was built in 1883, it's a historic sparkplug lighthouse in Warwick, Rhode Island. Tried using lures to catch bluefish but nothing. A few sea robins in the channel was all I could get.
Tried a little fishing and ended up in the Seekonk River between he Old Red Bridge and the Henderson bride.

Warwick, Rhode Island is a growing city located in central Rhode Island. Founded by Samuel Gorton in 1642, Warwick has witnessed many of the major events of American history. Warwick was decimated during King Philip's War (1675-76) and was the site of the first shot fired of the American Revolution against the British schooner Gaspee. Warwick is also the home of revolutionary war general Nathaniel Greene, George Washington's second in command, and the Civil War hero of the battle of Gettysburg, General George Sears Greene.
Warwick is centrally located and features the largest commercial air terminal, Theodore Francis Green State Airport, and the largest two shopping malls in the state. Residents and visitors alike can enjoy the city's 39 miles of beautiful coastline, with several fresh and saltwater beaches alongside marinas, waterfront restaurants and two historic lighthouses. Warwick also boasts one of the largest state parks, Goddard Memorial State Park, which offers picnic areas, golfing and salt water bathing.

Oakland Beach Warwick, Rhode Island 02889
Mark McHugh borrowed this information from Wikipedia: Oakland Beach is a neighborhood located in the South Central area of Warwick, Rhode Island, on Greenwich Bay, a tributary of Narragansett Bay. This densely populated community of small cottages was developed after World War I as a summer colony, largely for nearby Providence's middle-class Irish, greek and Italian communities. Oakland Beach reached its heyday in the 1930s when it boasted a bathing beach, boat docks and restaurants, as well as a Ferris wheel, and rail service to Providence and other nearby summer colonies. Popular local attractions included an arcade, carousel (merry go round) movie theater, bowling alley and dodgem cars. The New England Hurricane of 1938, however, destroyed much of Oakland Beach. The area never quite recovered, and Hurricane Carol in 1954 added to the area's destruction. Over the years, Oakland Beach has become a destination where people come to attend the many activities on the green, park by the sea wall to enjoy the beautiful vista of Greenwich Bay, kayak the scenic coves, stroll the shoreline and dine at the restaurants. The most notable being Iggy's Doughboys and Chowder House. Other restaurants include Top of the Bay (which use to be the Governor's residence) Timmy's Bay One, Marley's on the Beach and The Carousel Grill. New to the area is Twisted Pizzeria and Restaurant.
