Babe and Nut recently escaped bustling Bangkok for a series of beach reviews in Cha Am and Hua Hin leaving Brian to tend the store! Besides a great value room, you can expect authentic eats at Cha Am Little Shop featuring straight out of the water seafood purchased fresh from local fisherman every day!

The Nightlife in Cha-Am

First of all, I'd like to send out a really big Thank You to Rob and Bee for the wonderful time we spent together checking out Cha-Am over the 2 days. The Nightlife was something totally spur of the moment but also a sharp contrast to places like Soi Cowboy or Walking Street in Pattaya. It is a pace of life I could certainly get used to that's for sure.
You may have been following the Thailand news recently and I really think the picture of holiday making here in Thailand is not really showing the true story. Rob has been visiting here for many years and he also thinks the number of tourists is severely down in recent years. The low exchange rates no longer make Thailand the end destination for Australians as their dollar can go further in other countries. The heavy hand from the Immigration Authority is also scaring away travellers who can afford to come here as well.
I just hope the elections next year will usher in a new era for Thailand because if this exodus continues, Thailand will find it the Tourist industry collapsing completely.

I chose early retirement over working the 40 40 40 plan and now I'm living stress-free as an Aussie expat living in Thailand with my Thai girlfriend. Our Video Blog covers the typical things we find ourselves doing as we build our life together living in the suburbs of Bangkok. My fiancée is a post-op ladyboy and we have been together since 2009. I finally moved to Thailand in September 2016 because the 8 years of travelling to see her were taking its toll. We hope we will give you a unique perspective on Thailand life and lifestyle as we go about our daily life and sometimes explore the Land of Smiles. Cha Am, Thailand
The fishing harbor at Cha Am, Thailand.
In addition to the fishing fleet there are a variety of restauants and The Crab Pull. Featured on Inside Thailand, The Crab Pull shows the Freshness of the crabs coming out of nets tied to ropes on the bridge, straight from the water to your plate or bag for eating later. In any event these crabs are Fresh.

Hi guys, this was my adventures in Cha-am, Thailand with Jayjay and Lakwatserong Saydee.
How to go in Chaam?

Hua Lom Phong main train Station. In our case, we took taxi for 60+ Baht.
2. take a train to Chaam. I advice to there atleast 6 Am to catch the earlier train bound to Chaam. 40 Baht
3. Take a motosie for 50 baht per head.
I also Recommend the Hotel where we stayed.

A day at the beach in Cha-Am
It is Chanya's day off and her brother Bee suggested a day at the beach in Cha-Am so we took a quick drive down

It's not always an easy choice deciding what to do for Chanya's day off and to be honest, she is content with sleeping into the late hours of the day. Thankfully, her brother Bee suggested a day at the beach in Cha-Am which sounded like an excellent idea to get away for the day.
Our first stop was Hat Puek Tian Beach which as a bit of history written up in Wikipedia ( before making our way down to Cha-Am. Arriving at Cha-Am, the weather was perfect for lunch on the beach. Alas, this is the rainy season and an hour later, the monsoon rains chose to visit us. This didn't stop anyone from playing and as Thai's like to stay out of the sun, it was probably a perfect day all told.
