Wat Phu Thok is not for the faint hearted! You need a good head for heights, and be fit enough to climb hundreds of steep steps. And to come back down them again.
Wat Phu Thok is a temple mountain, where 7 levels of paths surround the sheer cliffs and join a series of small temples and retreats. It should be respected as a temple.
Wear good walking shoes or trainers. Watch where you put your feet and don't lean on the railings.
The top level, level 7, is a jungle path with almost no fences and in places the narrow path is very close to sheer drops.

There is no entry fee, but do leave a donation to help fund repairs to the pathways.
