Samut Sakhon is a small province located in the central part of Thailand.
Adjacent to the Gulf of Thailand, it is known for its seafood. Most locals do fishing. We can buy fresh seafood at Mahachai market. Transportation here is interesting that people still use ferry to cross the river. The well-known route is ferry between Port Chalom to Mahachai which is the inspiration of love song Tha Chalom. There is also another place that we recommend is the Krok Krak Temple.There is the Buddha image wearing sunglasses. Since it is the belief of the people in the days before to bring sunglasses to put on the Buddha image for healing the eye disease.

สมุทรสาครเป็นจังหวัดเล็กๆ ตั้งอยู่ในภาคกลางของประเทศ อยู่ติดกับอ่าวไทยจึงขึ้นชื่อในเรื่ออาหารทะเล ชาวบ้านส่วนใหญ่ทำอาชีพประมง เราจึงสามารถหาซื้ออาหารทะเลสดๆ ได้ที่ตลาดมหาชัย

การคมนาคมที่นี่ก็น่าสนใจตรงที่ชาวบ้านยังใช้บริการเรือข้ามฟากข้ามแม่น้ำ เส้นทางเรือที่รู้จักกันดีก็คือเรือข้ามฟากระหว่าง ท่าฉลอมกับมหาชัย ซึ่งเป็นที่มาของเพลงรักท่าฉลอม

นอกจากนี้ยังมีอีกสถานที่หนึ่งที่น่าสนใจนั่นคือวัดโกรกกราก ที่นี่มีพระพุทธรูปใส่แว่นตาดำ เนื่องจากเป็นความเชื่อของชาวบ้านในสมัยก่อนที่มาไหว้พระขอให้โรคตาแดงที่ระบาดอยู่นั้นให้หายไป จึงนำแว่นตาดำมาสวมไว้ที่พระพุทธรูป

I made a new friend in Thailand and he loves model aircrafts and especially multirotors...

We had some flights around Bangkok and i decided to share one of them close to a famous temple: Wat Phanthai Norasing...

Nicolas was testing his Cinetank MK1 with Eagle Tree Vector flight controller. It's a pretty nice setup even if he crashed it in water few days ago...

I know a lot of you guys are waiting for my mini quad but it looks like, i will never fly it. When i succeeded to get some LIPO batteries, my Dragon Link TX is passed away during the past few days...

I am probably grounded for a long time, i will have more time now for editing all these videos i have on my hard drive...

I finally have good news from Hobbyking, my first orders just arrived in Thailand after 13-14 weeks of waiting...

But anyway, Life is happy so be Happy...

Mahachai

Mahachai is a well-known name for Samut Sakhon province. Located near gulf of Thailand and just 35km sout west of Bangkok, Mahachai is great place for seafood lover. You can easily make one day trip to explore Mahachai places and dishes. Anyway, public transportation in this province is not cover all sightseeing spots, so drive your own car or car rental will be better choice.
Here are some interesting place:
- Ao Mahachai Mangrove Forest Natural Education Center: Good place to study mangrove forest and animals such as mudskipper.

- Dolphin viewing point: Rarely see dolphin now but still good place to relax and feel sea breeze.

- Benjarong Porcelain village: Benjarong is one of the most beautiful and detailed Thai hand craft and this is one of the best place to explore.

- Wat Yai Chom Prasat temple: a 400 years old temple located next to Tha Chin river

- Wat Krok Krak temple: well-known for buddha wearing sunglasses

- Mahachai market and Talay Thai market: great place to buy seafood such as shrimp, crab etc.
