Thailand travel Ubon Ratchathani Wat Tham Khuha Sawan beautiful cave temple. This ancient temple was built during the Ayutthaya period and was later upgraded to be the first royal temple in the province. Inside the temple cave is a large reclining Buddha image and another in a sitting posture. The cave walls and entrance are full of initials of many kings and royal family members who once visited the temple grounds.This temple, located at the foot of a mountain called Khao Khuha Sawan, is conveniently near Phatthalung Market. To get there, turn left at Khao Hua Taek to arrive at the temple.The temple is open daily from 8.00 am-5.00 pm. Wat Tham Khuha Sawan is a temple in Amphoe Khong Chiam (or Khong Chaim), Ubon Ratchathani Province, near the confluence of the Mekong River and the Mun River which, at this point, is called the Two Color River since the blue water of the Mun (or Moon) River contrasts with the silty Mekong. The temple was built in 1978 by the monk Luang Puu Khamkhanig Chullamani, who was originally from Laos. Luang Puu Khamkhanig Chullamani lived and meditated in a cave which he called Than Khuha Sawan (Heavenly Cave). The cave is located in a steep cliff below the temple. The body of the revered monk is kept in the cave inside a glass case surrounded by many Buddha images.
Wat Tham Khuha Sawan located on Highway 2222 prior to Khong Chiam district, about 3 km. Wat Tham Khuha Sawan built in 1978 by the Luang Pho Khumkaning Julmanee which was used as a practice. Currently Luang Pho Khumkaning Julmanee has died, but his body did not decay. The villagers were kept in closed glass figure of Luang Pho Khumkaning Julmanee to worship. Wat Tham Khuha Sawan has a vantage point overlooking the side of the Mekong River and Laos is beautiful.
Wat Tham Khuha Sawan is a cultural and natural significance of Ubon Ratchathani. The tourists come to respectfully worship Luang Pho Khumkaning Julmanee , you can enjoy views of the river. You can view landscapes of Laos, which is the opposite side is beautiful because of the location of the Wat Tham Khuha Sawan is situated on a plateau on the banks of the Mekong River. Visitors can see beautiful views of the river and the river, a river flowing together of two very beautiful. The views of Khong Chiam Located in Ubon Ratchathani on Highway 2222 and is an important tourist center of Ubon Ratchathani.
