TAT Newsroom The Seasons Episode 3 The Highest Faith
TAT Newsroom has launched its second documentary series, titled ‘The Seasons”, and its third episode ‘The Highest Faith’ features Wat Phra Bat Pu Pha Daeng, or Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Phra Chomklao Ratchanuson, a temple perched imposingly on a clifftop at 815 metres above sea level.
Located in Doi Phra Bat Wildlife Sanctuary in Chae Hom district in the Northern Thai province of Lampang, this temple is famous for its cluster of more than 10 purely white Lankan-style mountaintop pagodas.
Recognised as one of Thailand’s very important geological sites, around the site is a network of nine nature observing trails. The site also houses significant geological exhibits indicating that this area of Thailand used to be a desert some 75 million years ago.
Wat Phrabat Pu Pha Daeng Chae Hom District, Lampang Province Wat Phrabat Pu Pha Daeng or Doi Pu Yak or Doi Phrabat Pu Pha Daeng houses the Buddha's footprint inscribed on a large stone base. The most famous things of this temple are the magnificent image of the small white pagodas which are built on high mountains. Surrounded by high mountains which created by the human faith.
