MUST SEE in Samui Thailand Famous Wat Plai Laem
Wat Plai Laem is a Buddist temple on the resort island of Ko Samui.This Chinese and Buddist temple is especially recognized by its huge statue of the goddess Guanyin with het 18 arms,she is Goddess of Mercy and Compassion.She is also goddess of fertility that people pray to have children and she protects sailor. Close to the Big Buddha temple, Wat Plai Laem offers visitors a view into Chinese-Thai beliefs as well as some elaborate Buddhist-themed art and architecture.
At Wat Plai Laem you can feed massive carp and catfish in the lake, feed costs 10 Baht per bag.

O templo budista Wat Plai Laem é bastante bonito por fora na sua arquitectura tradicional dos templos muito ricos em pormenores e no interior destacam-se as pinturas a toda a volta do templo que representam a história da vida de Buda.
Construído numa uma plataforma sobre a água é acompanhados por duas outras grandes estátuas. Num lado o Buda Sorridente e no outro Guanyin, a deusa de compaixão e misericórdia com os seus 18 braços.
Bonito lugar para se visitar!

Schönster Tempel KOH SAMUI | Wat Plai Laem | THAILAND
Was ist der schönste Tempel auf Koh Samui? Wir hatten ihn gefunden! Nachdem wir tageland die Insel Koh Samui in Thailand mit Motorbikes durchstreift hatten, landeten wir an diesem wunderschönen sonnigen Morgen im Wat Plai Leam (Wat = Tempel). Hier stand die 18-armigen Statue goddess Guanyin und ein riesiger lachender chinesischer Buddha. Wunderschöne Farben umgaben uns und man konnte Fische und Tauben füttern. Man ging einzelne Statuen und Tampel auf dafür angelegten Inseln ab, denn sie standen im Wasser. Sauber und beeindruckend, man wollte gar nicht weg. War dies auch schon der schönste Tempel in Thailand oder sogar einer der beeindruckendsten Tempel unserer ganzen WELTREISE?

After spending three weeks in Koh Lanta we finally made it to Koh Samui! We headed straight out to the best temples to explore Wat Plai Laem before searching for Thai street food and cheap cocktails at the Koh Samui night markets!
