Being a short walk from the expansive Karon Beach on Phuket Island, Karon Temple or Wat Suwan Khiri Khet as it is locally known, is squeezed amongst the bars and restaurants that line the fun filled Patak Road. With 97% of Thailand being Buddhist, temples such as Karon's are dotted around every area, each having their own unique features and every single one worth a visit. The main building is guarded by two large, emerald green nagas ( serpents ) and the interior of the building's walls, doors and window panels depict the life of Buddha, including his Ten Lives and him struggling with evil prior to his enlightenment.
Beyond the walls, it is instantly noticeable the lack of noise, calmness and serenity which is apparent -- maybe those serpents really work! The main temple building has intricately crafted carvings of the Lord Buddha and the life he lead. Further into the temple's surroundings, monks in stark orange robes can be seen tending to the delightfully manicured gardens and brightly coloured flowers. Another building on the grounds has bizarre blue Yaks standing at the doorway. Within ancient Buddhist scriptures, the Yaks warn off evil spirits and keep the images and statues of Buddha safe. Tourists are always wowed by the beauty of Karon Temple, but the most intriguing fact is seeing similar statues and images of a Hindu nature. The two religions are closely related and it is no surprise to see Kali statues or images of cows dotted around.

City Description:
Karon is a resort town on the west coast of Thailand’s Phuket Island. It’s known for Karon Beach, a long stretch of white sand. Weather and Events:
Karon has a tropical monsoon climate and is hot year-round. The dry season (Dec–Mar) is a common time to visit. The rainy season (May–Oct) brings high humidity and heavy showers. During the Songkran Festival (Apr), locals celebrate Thai New Year by throwing water at each other. Loy Krathong (Nov) is a festival of lights where small banana-leaf boats topped with tiny candles are set afloat on the water.

LIVE WAT SUWAN KHIRIKHET WATKARON PHUKETT BUDDHIST TEMPLE, EAST THAILAND GRIDWORK ACTIVATION.
The grid consistent of several small temples but the big temple was amazing. I walked around the land and was just in awe of the beautiful details and colors. I greeted the monks and went inside the main temple. I sat and meditated to see what was there (of course in my 3rd eye I'm looking)
I could feel the overwhelming compassion energy in the space. Even though there was no sound I could actually hear the chanting that they do regularly.
There was a grid right above the temple plus a Buddhist golden portal. I reconnected the grids and then the Thai dragons started to appear. They call them Phaya Naga, mythical serpent-like creatures just beautiful!
They purified the area and when the monks started chanting later I saw the grid ground and harmonize around the whole Karon Beach area.
I'm excited to continue reconnecting all the grids, all over the world and bringing families and communities offline and online together!
